Ameyokocho, Ueno & Ikebukuro

Next stop, Ameyokocho!

It is located just a short walk away from Ueno station. The place is pretty crowded and there are many stalls there. You can shop for many things from fresh products to clothes.

New building with cafes on the way back to the station.

If you turn right when you exit the station, you can spot more autumn foliage and a small park with many people hanging around,

Keep walking and you will pass by several museums

From the Western Art Museum to the National Science Museum and the Tokyo National Museum

After a refreshing walk, I headed to Ikebukuro

Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space

Interesting central art piece

The art piece is connected to the central seating area on the lower floor

Take the escalator up and you can see the concert hall

Picture from where I was seated in the lounge area

Look at how long the escalator is. And, can you spot the long queue of people next to the escalator? There's a new restaurant opening in the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space and hence, those people were all queuing to enter it.

As for me? I'm chilling on this very comfortable chair.

Resting my poor feet for 10 mins before making a move again.
