Tony Romas, Sunway Pyramid

This was from months back~ A first visit for me.

A dinner date with the sea witch.

I had the half chicken with chips and roasted veges. It was ok~ the portion was pretty huge and I couldn't finish everything on my plate.

Here's the sea witch with her medium rare steak which according to her was good and she finished everything on her plate.

Takoyaki & Okonomiyaki party

Every year we have okonomiyaki and takoyaki party at Japanese school

All of us would gather at the front desk or common area, help to set up the equipments and then prepare the batter. All the sensei are really nice, they would usually have washed and shredded the cabbages, cut the seafood into small pieces and prepare all the necessary condiments.

All we had to do was appear, chose to help our or not and EAT!!!
This is sensei demonstrating how to prepare the takoyaki Osaka style!

Fill up the pan with the batter

Add in what ever filling you want - tako, sausages or crab stick, then top it with various condiments such as seaweed and ginger. After one side cooks, just turn them over and form them into round little balls~

This here is the pan for cooking okonomiyaki. No pictures from here onwards because I was busy cooking.

But basically it's almost the same as the takoyaki, except that this batter is mixed with the shredded cabbages.

After cooking, just top both the takoyaki and okonomiyaki with their respective sauces, ao nori, katsuobushi and mayo~!!!!

OISHII~!!!!
:D

Lorong Seratus

This was from a visit to Lorong Seratus in Taipan.

Curry mee~

I would usually either order their curry mee or prawn mee when I'm there. 2 of my fav. items there.

My friend's chee cheong fun~

I'm not really a huge fan of this type of chee cheong fun, I prefer those that are rolled up with fillings and topped with curry sauce.

Japanese toilet

This is the female wash room in one of the floors in Lumine.

Though I have not used one in Japan, I really love the fact that they have a powder room in all of their wash rooms. It's really handy for females who would love to touch up their make-up without hogging the sink area. Moreover, these come with bright lights that is good for make-up application and with sockets for your hair straighteners or curlers.

Simple bidet

Simple button design that even those who cannot read japanese could easily interpret.

This I like! Females would know what this is. No need to step on any pedal to open it or use your hands to lift any covers because spot that black rectangular area on the top right? It's a sensor, just move your hands over it and it opens up nicely!

Another thing I think is really useful for mothers is this little baby chair. When travelling alone, you need a safe place to place your child......

Then there's the toilet seat cleaner! Who doesn't love a toilet that care about hygiene?

Automatic flushing system is not uncommon even in Malaysia. However, sometimes the sensor just doesn't work that well and we'd have to push the button to flush it. This one here.....just move your hand over the sensor, no need to touch anything!

Lindt Chocolates

I love Lindt chocolates!!!

Received these from cousin~

I absolutely LOVE the Extra dark chocolate~ OMG.....literally just melts in your mouth~! And the texture was super smooth~!!! Must buy more of these~!!!

I enjoyed the Zest of Lime too but the zest was slightly too bitter for my liking~! But the taste works well with the dark chocolate.

Serai, Paradigm Mall

Dinner at Serai in Paradigm Mall

My nasi lemak was pretty normal. Nothing much to comment about except that the sambal was kinda spicy.

Lol and that it's pretty pricey for a simple nasi lemak like this.

Cousin's wedding in Ipoh

Last year, I attended my cousin's wedding in Ipoh.

He works as an interpreter in Indonesia and hence has some japanese friends over for his wedding.

Naturally, there were very good drinkers. hehehe.....

Here's mum joking with them.....naturally, nobody drinks this way. They seem to really like mum and kept calling her mama.

His 2 friends were truly out- and easy-going. There was even an after session at cousin's house afterwards....

Hope to see them again in Bali this Aug~
