Day 16: Breakfast at Beatrix

I really enjoyed this dish. Healthy and delicious! I could eat this every morning~

The cakes at Beatrix are really interesting and I've never seen flavour combinations like these before.

Pear-a-misu cake! Layers of mascarpone crema, poached pear, pear jelly, sponge and coffee

I'm usually not a fan of tiramisu, but I really enjoyed this, especially the pear!!!

Apricot crumble cheesecake with cinnamon cookie crust

Love this as it has everything that I like....cookie crust, cheese, crumble, apricot and cinnamon!

Black forest cake with sour cherries~

I'm not a fan of black forest too but this was good.

Haven't seen this gal since our Kpop days like 7 or 8 years ago! hahaha.....looking back, I can't believe some of the silly things that we did but they were definitely fun.

Huge beans

Sensei came back from Japan and bought us this as omiyage~

Hanamame~ flower beans!

We've never seen anything like it before. 

1 box had like 4 little packet of beans as the one shown above. When you pour the beans out, this is what they look like. Big black beans that are coated with a thick sugar syrup.

The beans were delicious!!! I need to know where to buy them! While they are sweet, they make such good snacks!

After brunch, it was some shopping and then desserts time at Cafe Benne~

It's been years since I've met Lina and it's just sooo good to meet up with her again!

Yuzu, Gardens Midvalley

Dinner at Yuzu at the Gardens Midvalley

First visit to their Gardens branch and it was lovely~

The food presentation was pretty and the food was delicious~

The price was reasonable too! I definitely enjoyed my dinner here more than their KLCC branch

The beef sukiyaki set came with sashimi too~

The chirashi don was definitely one of the better ones I've had! Just look at all the topping!!! There's even unagi on it!  

Food and service were both good~ Highly recommend this place~

Day 15: Yarra Valley

Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery

Delicious looking chocolates~

Any chocolate you want, you can probably find it there. There's just sooo many different chocolates!

It was near Easter when I was there......

...hence all the bunny chocolates~

They're all wrapped really nicely and are perfect as gifts!

The kitchen was behind these huge bunny chocolate statues!

There's also a cafe there where one can order food or ice cream.

There's also some free tasting available at the chocolate counter. You can get a taste of milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate. I absolutely love the dark chocolate! So much that I bought some~

Plus the view there was lovely~

After that we dropped by Costco where  I found the biggest bag of Lays I've ever seen!

We were there to buy some ingredients for a little root top BBQ at Pancy's place! Super happy as I haven't had BBQ in a long time! :) Plus we had some of Pancy's lovely home grown fresh produce~
