Dessert time at Saizeriya

After dinner, we walked out of the restaurant and noticed this phenomenon outside!

The power of Pokemongo! A bunch of white-collared workers just standing still with their phones on a weeknight.

Haven't been to Saizeriya for so long and was pleasantly surprised that they served food desserts at a cheap price!

The top was a coffee jelly dessert with ice cream (299 yen). The second one was a lemon sorbet (199 yen) which was amazing!! Super tangy~!!!

And this last one was a pudding (249 yen) which is super common in Japan but also delicious~

After desserts, we realised that the number of white-collared workers actually grew!!!

Monjyayaki Ikebukuro

もんじゃや 池袋西口駅前店 (Monjayya Ikebukuro West exit)

Address: 〒171-0021 Tokyo, Toshima, Nishiikebukuro, 1 Chome−13−5, シーガルハウス 4F

Kaisen special monjya (1, 200 yen)

We attempted to cook this ourselves and well, not sure if we did the right thing or not but the taste was ok! I especially the pari-pari parts.

Buta miso okonomiyaki (800 yen)

We cooked this okonomiyaki ourselves too and while it turned out beautiful, it's not a flavour that I enjoy. I still prefer seafood~

Mix Monjya with sakura ebi (890 yen)

For this last order, we asked the waitress to cook it for us and yes, as expected of an expert.....you need to have the proper skills for this! hahaha....but that aside, sakura ebi monjya is the best monjya I've had!!!! soooo good~!!!! Next time I have monjya, I'm gonna order this flavour.

Sour (400 yen), Casis Oolong (450 yen)

After tax, the meal came up to 4, 140 yen, which was cheaper than choosing the all you can eat option that was available that night.

Ultraman Festival, Sunshine City

Thanks to T san, we got to visit the Ultraman Festival at Sunshine City~

There were sooo many things to see there~

But of course, the highlight was the show~!!!

The show was soooo good! I can't wait for the next one!

Look who I saw at the backstage! hahaha....my so called brother~

After that, we got treated to some delicious Ultraman themed ice cream.

Sorta reminds me of Cold Stone

Our delicious ice cream~!!!

After that, we explored the exhibition and goods area....and got a gift each! Super happy~

After meeting up with H, we went for tea at a cafe in Sunshine City, which happened to be serving Ultraman ichigo cake at that time~!

SC's mango tart~

Both desserts were delicious. And talk about Ultraman overload~ hahaha....

So happy to be reunited this way in Japan with everyone.

Huge thanks to T san who made it all possible and for always being so nice to all of us!

Eating Japan - Ice cream series 7

1. Dole ice popsicles

This was delicious and great as a light snack on a hot day. You'd probably need a few to cool you down as they're tiny! But I love them~ This one here is the limited edition one that came in pink grapefruit, orange, pineapple and grape flavours.

2. Chateraise raw caramel shaved ice

This is like the best prepacked shaved ice ever!!!

The shaved ice itself is already flavoured, then you get these little dollops of caramel~!!!!  :D

3. Haagen-Dazs limited edition caramel truffle

This was surprisingly good! I've never tried this flavour before and didn't really know what to expect.

4. Chateraise peach ice popsicles

This huge pack contains 6 bars.

I bought this when peach was still in season in Japan and ooo sooo good! Not too sweet and I like the texture of the popsicle~

5. Chateraise kakigori in green tea flavour

I bought a huge pack of this that contains 6 little containers like this. Unlike the caramel one which was a soft shaved ice, this one has more of an ice texture to it and good for those who love to chew on ice! The flavour is spot on and there's even red beans in this! Though I felt that the red bean was a little too sweet, it was yummy.

6. W berry 100% fruits bar

Highly recommend this if you love berries~ This bar is made form 100% fruit juice and pulp so it's super flavourful!!!

First live talk event

Went over to Mish's place one weekend and we had lunch nearby her apartment

I had the gateau chocolate and she had the pizza~

The pizza was huge and delicious! I would definitely love to revisit this place the next time for their pizza which was delicious.

Unfortunately, I was still too full from sushi in the morning to order another pizza.

After that we went to her place where she got all dolled up in yukata for a VK event. After her event with her friend, I went to join them for tea at チーズアンドドリア スイーツ (CHEES&DORIA SWEETS)in Lumine EST.

My delicious kinako and kuromitsu waffle~ heehee.....can't get enough of Wa desserts~

I too joined them for their next talk event thanks to the extra tickets that Mish's friend had. A talk event by a VK group called Morrigan. It was interesting for me as it was the first time I attended such an event.

And, of course.....we ended the night with purikura~ Even with the normal settings, our eyes had been magnified to look like dolls.

Sushi Daiwa, Tsukiji

First time having sushi omakase style in my life~ :)

Visited Sushi Daiwa with TH san

We were lucky as we queue for about 30mins only.

This is the ojisan who prepared all our sushi that morning.

First off~ super zeitaku! Uni and tuna~

This uni~ has got to be one of the best I've had!

Followed by shrimp

Sushis with tuna and clams

A yummylicious tuna

Tamago~

Ika that was delicious and one of the best I've had

I forgot what's the name of this white fish

Ending the meal with anago

Of course, there's green tea and hot miso soup too to complement our meal.

Super good and zeitaku breakfast~

I will definitely want to be back to try Sushi Dai!
