Dinner and board games

For dinner, we went for crabs at Crab B seafood restaurant in Puchong.

I really miss this cute little veg called paku. So cute and delicious!

This is a new kind of fried yam dish that I've never tried before and it was good!

Even though I'm not a fan of tofu, I found the tofu to be yummy and it was great that they served it in 2 different ways.

For the highlight of the dinner, CRABS! We had the crabs cooked in creamy salted egg yolk. Super good~!!! The creamy sauce goes super well with the fried man tou! I can't get enough of this. Wish I could get this here in Japan too.

The crabs are XXL size so they're big and meaty!!!

Look at the amount of food on our table~!!! We finished everything!! :D

The second crab dish that we had was this kam heong one which has a stronger flavour than the previous one. I enjoyed this too though I was skeptical at first.

After dinner, we went over to seawtich's place for board games and look at the huge collection that Sinbad has!!!! They can totally open a board game cafe!

Board games was really fun and I wish that I can do this more often.

Games that stimulates your brain.....I like how it brings out the competitive spirit in myself too.

Day 2 lunch at Ali, Muthu & Ah Hoock, Ara Damansara

The next day, I caught up with Moon , Nick and YL at Ara Damansara,

We went to this place called Ali, Muthu & Ah Hock which supposedly serves super good nasi lemak!

As I wanted to have some curry mee too, YL ordered one and I stole some from her! Best cousin ever~!!! <3

The rendang that I ordered with my nasi lemak.

Our orders...

The nasi lemak is the bomb! The fried chicken was fried to perfection and the sambal was delicious too! I really miss nasi lemak~!!

After lunch, we went to a cafe nearby for some drinks and I got a chocolate caramel cake.

I feel like every time I meet Nick and Moon, we have nasi lemak hahaha....

Day 1 back!

Arrived at KLIA in the morning and my parents came to pick me up. :D

I was craving for some good chicken rice but sadly the one that we usually go to was close on that day so we just went to another one nearby for some take away. It was okay but I did really enjoy the roasted pork!

For dinner, I met up with seawitch and Sinbad for dinner at Well cook gourmet in SS14 for their famous fried assam laksa which was the best dish of the night!

I really enjoyed it dry, the punch of flavours!

We also had the traditional soup version which was of course, yummy~! There's just nothing similar to this in Japan. Nothing that's this flavourful and is salty, spicy and sour at the same time!

This here is the char kuey teow which Sinbad attacked before I had managed to snap a picture. hahaha.....I've missed fried noodles with "wok hei" too which is not available in Japan too, cuz well, you just can't find these huge black woks where you cook food at super high heat! That "wok hei" adds an extra flavour to the food.

As the restaurant closes early, we went to a nearby cafe in SS15 for some cakes.

Very good cakes with local flavours too like pandan.

It was great catching up with bestie and her other half after so long. :)

Dinner before flying

Tsurutontan at Haneda airport which serves udon has officially became the 'go to' restaurant for us whenever we're there.

We always order a different udon to try. And so far, they're all very good. We haven't had a bad one yet. One thing I like about Tsurutontan is that they don't force you to order a meal or drink per person, like many restaurants here in Japan. So it's a great place to share a big bowl of udon when you're not very hungry.

Again, we're having the kudzu kiri for dessert. +D It's just starch noodles served with kuromitsu. You will like it if you enjoy the taste of kuromitsu.

Dinner at Saizeriya

 Saizeriya is good anytime!

I like how you can order many different items on the menu and it wouldn't burn a hole in a your wallet.

I always enjoy their popcorn shrimp and wings~!!! Super yummy~

J was busy working on his laptop and hence, he had this pasta while working.

Meanwhile, I was super free, so I had this paela and everything else on the table!

Luce, Nishi Kasai

Luce's lunch courses are such good deals that it's hard to resist them every time I visit.

This time, the 3 of us had the full lunch course which came an appetiser, bread and cream soup.

Sadly the pie wasn't baked properly that day.

A salad, with an interesting dressing. I think this was strawberry dressing.

For our mains, we all ordered different pasta. The crab one was K's, this creamy pasta with prawn was mine and the one with ikura was J's.

For the second main dish, I was the only one who opted for the fish, while the other 2 had meat.

The fish as delicious and the pork was surprisingly yummy too. I thought that it would be dry since it was fried.

Lastly, the meal also comes with a cake!

We had a lemon tart, mango tart and mille feuille cake.

Cakes at Luce are really good. For a small little shop that doesn't have a franchise any where else, it definitely has some very good baked items!!!

From Indian food to Chinese food

Friday night dinner with J and we were craving for Indian food~!!!

I love poppadom but this restaurant doesn't serve it on it's own. They serve it with a kind of salsa topping, which is refreshing and spicy!

Chicken briyani here is the best! Love how flavourful the rice is and the flavourful chicken that's burried beneath the rice.

We also had a garlic naan with prawn masala! Garlic naan was super yummy~ I'm feeling hungry now, thinking about it.

After that super heavy dinner, we went for Chinese hot pot the next day with J's friends!!

It was my first time at Hai Di Lao and it was amazing!

I like how we can choose different kind of soups and all of them very good! Other that just the meat and veg that you order, there are sauce stations, where there are edamame, lychee and chinese dessert (tong sui).

Look at the amount of food that we have on our table and this is not everything that we've ordered.

I must say that I'm very happy with the food served, services and the toilet! Although, the food is a little pricey. Overall, I had a very good experience there.
