Eating Japan - Bread series 4

1. Chateraise Ujimatcha roll cake

This is probably one of the best baked good I've had from Chateraise. The green team cream was light and so was the roll cake!

2. Cherie Dolce honey lemon pound cake

Love these as my mid afternoon snacks! The texture is really good and not too sweet.

3. StyleOne chocolate chip stick bread

This kind of bread is like my lazy and easy go to snack. Convenient plus they're cheap!

4. 7&i almond topped egg cake

Nope, not a fan of this! I don't really enjoy these kind of soft and super moist cake

5. Cherie Dolce Earl Grey Madeleine

Sweet but yummy~

6. Russian Cake- peanut chocolate

Received this from a colleague and it was good. But the size was a little too tiny!

7. Pasco Florentine

Not sure why but no matter how I tried, the picture appears upside down!

This here is sweet but I really like it! There a nice tart base, soft cake in the middle and sweet but crunchy almond slices on top!! A really delicious combination!

8. Walnut Melon pan

Pretty plain but it's not easy to find walnut bread here. So if you like walnut, you should give this a try.

Showa Kinen Park, Tachikawa

Arrived at the station early and spotted Bake. Of course, I had to get us some.

Initially, we wanted to buy food from the konbini and just picnic at the park.....but because it was cold that day, we went for shabu-shabu instead!

We found an all-you-can-eat place and ate to our heart's conent!

So happy to be back at the park after 6 months!

The park is huge and beautiful~

Honestly, this is the perfect date spot!!!

This was probably the day I took the most number of selfies!

Look at the beautiful cosmos flowers~

Can't get enough of them

They're available in both yellow and orange.

There were seriously many people there...couples, families and friends!

Many brought mats to lie on the ground and many brought stuffs to play with.

Us, we just brought ourselves, our phones and our Bake cheese tarts! hahaha

But look at us, we're happy with just the flowers alone!

Can't get enough of all the silly pictures that we took.

We even tried panaroma shots.

After the first session, we decided to just sit down on the grass and enjoy our Bake cheese tarts. Love them, always soooo good~

Moving on to another area, we found more beautiful white flowers.

I seriously don't know what we're doing there.

At least we all looked extremely happy!

Whee~

Love this shot.

Lol~ our attempt at a jump shot.

This park is really good every month of the year.

There are many things that you can do in the park other than just flower viewing.

There's a water park, bbq area, cycling path....there's even a lake with boats.

But I guess, if I were there on a date, I would be happy to just sit down on the grass while enjoying the flowers and talking about everything under the sun.

There are really many couples there, you can see many of them cuddled together as it was cold~

One day~

Meanwhile, we'll just enjoy ourselves with our silly selfies!

Lol~ us promoting Bake?

I really like this shot~

After the park, we went to Ikea for a light dinner. We all got the medallion.

And I got an extra cheesecake for dessert.

Note to self, next time just get the medallion~

Halloween-themed Disneyland~!!!

The first time I visited Disneyland was in 2005. 11 years later, I'm making my second visit and guess what? They're both in October and yes, Halloween-themed Disneyland~!!!

Must be fated!

Took a buy to Disneyland, rushed to the bag check area and this is the queue and I ended up in!

Look at the number of guests!

Disneyland is not even open yet when we arrived. We bought our tickets in advance and we still had to queue a bit to enter.

Customary shot in front of Cinderella's Castle

Walked past Snow White's wishing well~

Got our best pose on~

The wishing well is pretty interesting. Spot Snow white behind? She will sing every now and then~

Wishing for my Prince Charming~

After our first ride and breakfast at the pizza parlour, we went to shop for some head gears~

There are soooo many to choose from!

It's almost like a must here in Disneyland. Almost 80% of the guests have one.

We too couldn't resist and bought some.

Went to grab some fast passes so that we had time to take pictures and buy food.

I had the orange ice popsicle 11 years ago. Hence, I decided to try the ice cream sandwich this time.

Really good~

Spotted this only after I bought my Minnie head band. Oh well, I'll probably have more chance to use the head band compared to this.

Seriously, we spend so much money and it wasn't even noon yet.

After our second ride, we went to get more food and this is actually a queue for.....

... this Teriyaki Chicken Leg~!

Fortunately, they were delicious~!

It's a small world.......Just saw in the news last month that this will be changed into a Frozen ride 2 years later.

More food.....Churros~!!!

Pumpkin churros, which we had to queue more than 30mins for.

Right after our third ride, we stopped to enjoy this Disney parade~

Always enjoy their parades...

Thing is.....people usually set out their mats and wait for the parade more than an hour before the parade starts!! So it's gonna be hard if you want front row seats~

4th ride~

Hug the lamp post shot!

After that we got hungry again!!! And it's time for more food!!!!

So while we wait in line, it's time for more pictures~

Can't help, but take pictures with every cute door I see!

In Disneyland, you will see many people in paired clothes, especially females. Or if you're in a big group, everyone in the group can wear the same clothing too.

Tea break!!!

My Halloween ebi burger! The bun is pumpkin shaped and unlike the normal burger bun, this is actually a steamed bun.

This little boy here is the cutest boy in the entire Disneyland~!!! He's decked in a Donald Duck costume.

What's more, he's asking Scrooge Mcduck for his autograph!

Soooo cute~

More parade again as we move from one area to the other

This one here is the Halloween parade!

After that we  went for our 5th ride and then headed toward the Cinderella castle~

The queue was definitely long

But since I've not entered before, I really wanted to see what's inside

You even get to be a Queen for 3 seconds!

After that we went for another ride. Our group shot was simply hilarious! C did buy a copy though because of he really liked the kid's expression.

Last ride for the night~

Good bye Disneyland~!!!
A place where all your dreams come true!

Would definitely love to be back for a date in the future.
