Bleach hair day

After thinking about it for a few weeks now, I finally made the reservation to dye my hair at a salon that I have been following on Instagram. I started to follow them because of the purple colour that they were able to produce on their client's hair.

Want thing the same hair colour, I made a reservation even though the place was super expensive and I had to bleach my hair twice in order to achieve the colour. No regrets because it was something that I had always wanted to try.

While it looks red here, it is actually purple but it was hard to snap a nice picture that shows the colour because there was no sun and also because I was wearing a red top. Overall, I am very happy with the outcome despite knowing that it will only last a few days.

After that we grabbed lunch at Kumada (サーモン丼 熊だ). This is my 4th visit here. This time I ordered the tokujyo don for 1,980 JPY.

Website: http://kumada.tokyo/

This place is always so busy.

I am happy that I am able to get some ochazuke as the weather was cold. I saved up some of my sashimi for this.

After that, we stopped by Dandelion Chocolate Omotesando for some dessert.

I had always wanted to try their branch in Kamakura but it was always super busy when I visited in the past.

We had the H2O choclate mousse and a limited edition pistachio cake. Both were delicious and makes you crave for more.

After that we explored around Shibuya as it has been a super long time since we visited. We were shocked to find that there was a anti-mask/ vaccine/ this pandemic is a lie protest going on in front of the station.

Fancl Ginza Square (ファンケル 銀座スクエア)

I went out for lunch with YH after a long time.

We booked lunch at Fancl Ginza Square at 創作料理 FANCL 令和本膳.

The place was wide and spacious. I really like how far apart the tables were. Also, the tables are wide, so we got to sit comfortable.

We had the 2,000 JPY lunch.

The lunch came with juice, miso soup, this platter of 9 dishes and a small dessert.

While the volume was a bit small for me, the taste was great! I enjoyed everything that was served to us.

After that, we hung around the Fancl building and did some skin and health checks with their systems there.

After that we went to our favourite house for some Chinese tea and cake.

We always enjoy tea at this little cafe that is hidden away inside a building in Ginza. The seats were wide, the tea served were nice and the tidbits were yummy.

Autumn in Shibuya

Early in the morning, we decided to drop by Aoyama before going to Shibuya for lunch.

As there weren't many people there, we were able to snap some nice pictures.

While many leaves have fallen, the scenery was still beautful.

After that, we headed to Shibuya Scramble Square for lunch with friends at La Coquina cerveceria.

We had a nice corner seat that overlooks the entre restaurant.

First up were some ham, marinated sardines and tomato salad. The marinated sardines were surprisingly very good.

Next up, garlic toasts with prawn and mushroom ajillo. I love garlic toasts with prawn ajillo! This did not disappoint as it was full of flavours!

This squid and potato dish here has got to be the best dish of the day! The squid was soft and went so well with the flavourful sauce. I wished that there were more!

And lastly we had clams cooked in vine and iberico pork paella.

We ate everything as all the food was yummy.

After lunch, we stopped by ocha room ashita ITOEN for some desserts.

I ordered a green tea and houjicha ice cream parfait while J ordered the seasonal maron tea.

SW had the green tea pudding.

And Nat ordered the seasonal cold maron tea.

It was nice to still able to catch up with friends during this pandemic.

Caravaan Tokyo

Visiting Caravaan Tokyo again!

As their afternoon tea set was too good, I brought J here.

J had their lunch set which comes with a sprout salad and a plate of different hummus with pita bread. The different types of hummus were sooo good! I absolutely enjoyed the paprika one.

I had the hibiscus tea again, which is slightly tart, but goes so well with the sweet deserts.

J's lunch set, which came with briyani!

There are 6 different dishes, which included a chicken skewer. There is also a chicken curry, which is not pictured here. The spices were on spot and went so well with rice.

Finally, the falafel that I had ordered arrived. I really like this and recommend this with the afternoon tea set.

Greek yoghurt with nuts and scones. :)

The amazing afternoon tea seat!

This hanamitsu stollen is hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.

Dates and cacao cake. This was rich and delicious.

Maron flavoured ice cream which was rich and creamy.

Berry and rose vegan mousse. This is a tart and tangy mousse. But it is refreshing when you want to taste something different.

Baklava which is sweet but so good!

Carrot and walnut cake is one of my favourite because the cake is super light.

Another favourite is this arabian cheesecake which is rich is flavour and has an interesting crunchy texture thanks to the thin strands on the cheesecake.

Everything from the lunch set to the afternoon tea was amazing. I can't wait to revisit again!

Gran Eat Ginza (グランイート銀座)

Lunch at Gran Eat Ginza (グランイート銀座).

This place serves a lot of vege options for their buffet. Look at the variety of veg on these 2 plates!

They also serve tempura which are made to order. So good! I went back for seconds.

They also serve meat, for example, this apple and pork stew which was delicious btw and gave me inspiration to make some myself at home too.

Overall, we really enjoyed all the good served here. If you are looking for a healthy buffet option, this is the place to go too. We ate a lot, but because they were mostly veg, we didn't feel too guilty afterwards.

They also serve ice cream and petite cakes.

After lunch, we took a long train ride to Mitsui Outlet Park Makuhari (三井アウトレットパーク 幕張) for some outlet shopping.
