Dip n Dip & Thai Thai, Sunway Pyramid

This was from a catch up session with H two months back, as we reminisce on our Genting working days.

We went for lunch at Dip n Dip, where we shared their famous brownies crepe and had some tea.

This was delicious, though it was super sweet and a lot for a single person. Best to be shared with friends!

As weird as that sounds, after the super sweet meal, I was craving for something spicy and sour, so we ended up in Thai Thai, where we shared a super SPICY seafood tom yum soup!!! hahaha....

It was definitely a good catch up session~  it's interesting how things turn out sometimes.

Surprise night with the girls

Invited the girls to uni for a dinner experience at the student's restaurant one night. But unfortunately, my reservation didn't go through and so we didn't have seats. But thankfully, the manager/lecturer was super helpful and managed to get us seats while still serving us what we wanted.

After that we went for desserts at Donutes where Jas and seawitch surprised me with this!

And this!!! as my Bday and graduation gift!!

Bday moments~

hahaha.....my lovely gift in the mail! Strawberry and chocolate cake from Chong.

The best gift from the mail came from cuzzie who sent me an underwear!!! hahaha.....

Early in the morning, I thought of doing something different and requested for McD breakfast! :D 

hehehe......here's my fillet-o-fish with hash brown!

For lunch, it's chicken and cheese pie from Starbucks and it was delicious~!!!

Both my breakfast and lunch were extremely filling~!!! and sooo sinful~!!!

Then for dinner, Amanda and I went to Yuzu and the Gardens~

Here's our delicious dinner set~!!! Look at it~ looks great and tastes amazing! :D

After that, we had desserts at Madame Waffle at Midvalley! Thanks to Amanda for the treat! :D

Here's our original waffle wtih earl grey and vanilla lavender ice cream, topped with toasted marshmallow, oreo and almonds.

It was definitely a great day~ 

That day was also my last day working at M Uni. So many things happened on the same day for me, so many thoughts and emotions ran through my head.......we chatted about relationships, life and about our future......

Can't believe that I'm already at this age! Time to make more new plans for the future, to achieve new dreams and gain new experiences.

Then during weekend, sensei bought me a cake from Komugi! I'm super thankful! Sensei buys me a cake every year and I just couldn't thank him enough for it!

Dragon-i, Sunway Pyramid

Went for dinner with S at Dragon-i, which was a first for the both of us.

I've always known that they serve good xiao long bao~ so we had to have some!

And it's true, they were delicious, with hot delicious soup inside~

Unfortunately, that was probably the best dish of the night. We also ordered some steamed salted egg custard buns but the custard was over cooked and have already hardened, rather than in a liquid consistency!! Super disappointing!!! While S found them yummy.....I was super disappointed by the fact that they weren't runny!!!! Ugh~

We also had some fried carrot cake and stir-fried noodles which were ok..... 

Probably the next time I visit, I'll try some of their soup based la mien instead.

After that, it was desserts at New Zealand's! Always gotta end the meal with desserts~!

Ahroy Thai and Inside Scoop, Cheras

ZY, Amanda and I had a girl's night out at Ahroy Thai, Cheras. A night filled with good food and girl's talk!

We ordered green curry which was super rich~

This tomyum soup was amazing!!! Sooo good but oh so spicy!

Could't get enough of it!

This is an extremely interesting dish....I've never had fried kang kong before. Will definitely order this dish again!

After that, we went for dessert at Inside Scoop where we had waffles and ice cream! :D

San Nae Deul, IKON Connaught

Jas bought some groupons for a weeknight dinner with the girls one night.

For RM39, we got to enjoy a self-service BBQ buffet. 

It was our first trip there and we found it interesting that we had to grill on top of this paper. Well, at least it makes cleaning easier after the meal.

Overall there was a wide variety, but we definitely preferred the non-cooked items to the cooked items there.

Seawitch and Jas just came back from their trip overseas, so we go some lovely souvenirs from them!

Jin Xuan + Inside Scoop

My favourite is the salted egg, scallop and prawn fried fritter on the bottom left! Highly recommended~

After that it was dessert time at Inside scoop~

We had pistachio, durian and dark chocolate!

Bangsar- Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf

We went to Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf at Bangsar.

Omg, this was super creamy and super yummy! I always love a good carbonara with bacon and egg!!!

We also had another pork dish. It was delicious too but slightly on the salty side. I will definitely go back for more porky goodness~

As usual, after dinner....we got to have out dessert fix! This time, it was at Inside scoop and I got the best chocolate gelato ever in a super delicious hand-made cone!

This was the first time I've ever tried Inside scoop, and I've been hooked ever since!

As if desserts after dinner wasn't enough, we both headed to Tous Les Jours after that for some tea~ hahahahaa

But it was a great night filled with girls talk!

Sweet Hut, Setia Walk

Milk shaved ice with oreo cookie toppings and a pudding on the side. Not sure how it tasted as I'm not a fan of milk.

But this chocolate mouse cake was decadent! Rich in flavour~ and went so well with the cookies n cream ice cream!

Zakka Loft, Ipoh

Visited Zakka Loft in Ipoh for the first time and it was a good experience.

I absolutely enjoyed my earl grey ice cream~

We were there for some board games.

I highly recommend this cafe if you are looking for a place to chill, read a book, chit-chat with your friends or just work on your laptop~!!!

Mr. Dak-Galbi at Setia Walk

Finally got the chance to try out this place. The last time I visited, I had to leave before the food was cooked as I wasn't feeling well~

Overall the taste was ok, I especially enjoyed the sweet potato, cabbages and ramen together~

Desserts to sweep the stress away

It's true what they say that stressed spelled backwards is desserts!

Desserts does help make the day feel a little better~
