Staying at Chiba again

For this trip, I booked a night with Daiwa Roynet Hotel Chiba Station (ダイワロイネットホテル千葉駅前).

I have stayed here before for work and really enjoy my stay because the hotel is new and there are rooms with massage chairs.

This time, I booked a double room with a massage chair so that we can relax our muscles after all the exercise in the day.

As you can see, the room and the washroom are both spacious for a business hotel. I also prefer these kind of toilets in comparison to the typical unit baths which are smaller and have a smaller bath tub.

That night, we went to Chiba station to buy from sushi and salad for dinner. We also had some interesting cup noodles that were purchased at Naritasan from the Korean restaurant where we had lunch. This yangnyeom flavour one is very nice! 

The next day, we stopped by Nishi Kasai on the way back to grab lunch at Mumbai Kitchen.

I haven't visited in a long time and was pleasantly surprised to find that they have expanded the space. 

It is super spacious now and there are even posters of celebrities visiting.

I always order their garlic naan when I visit and this time, it was no different.

We also had the chicken briyani which I think is the best in Japan!

Hope to be back here again one day with my ex-colleagues, whom I used to visit this place with.

Dormy Inn Akita, Nakadori Onsen Komachi no Yu (中通温泉 こまちの湯 ドーミーイン秋田)

For our trip to Akita, we stayed at Dormy Inn Akita, Nakadori Onsen Komachi no Yu (中通温泉 こまちの湯 ドーミーイン秋田).

This here is our double room on the 8th floor.

The best is pretty small but it has pretty good services.

The room does not have a bath because they have shared baths here.

Here is the sink, that is right in front of the entrance.

Right in front of the shared bath, there are some free services for guests. In the morning, they provide yoghurt drinks and later in the day ice cream.

Also, on the first floor, there is free beer available for guests. 

At night, there is also free duck soba for guests which I did not get to try.

Considering the price we paid and all the free services available, this hotel provides a pretty good deal even though we did not utilise all of the free services. I highly recommend this place for those who are on a budget but want to stay at a place other than a hostel.

Art Hotel Aomori アートホテル青森

On day 1 & 2 of this trip to Aomori, we stayed at Art Hotel Aomori.

The hotel is pretty grand for Aomori were most of the buildings around it is short.

This time we were placed on the 12th floor.

The inside looks like this, with a big open space in the middle, which makes it look very spacious.

We booked one with a massage chair, which I enjoyed every night after showering.

We only requested for breakfast on our 2nd day and the spread is pretty decent. They served a combination of Japanese and Western. They also served some sashimi don and grilled hotate, which was nice.

Hotel Granvia Hiroshima (ホテルグランヴィア広島)

Business trip day again.

Took the Shinkansen to Hiroshima and stopped by the same teishoku restaurant that I went to last time for late lunch.

After that, I immediately checked in to Hotel Granvia Hiroshima (ホテルグランヴィア広島) as I had a meeting to catch.

This time, I am on the 7th floor, in room 721. My room has a very big table for work. There is even a small table at the side, which I barely used.

I spent the next night at Route Inn Tokuyama Ekimae Hotel (ホテルルートイン徳山駅前) after work and managed to snap a picture of the sunset from my room.

It is easy to just eat in my room as it saves time and I am able to eat while I reply emails at the same time.

Lunch with colleagues the next day. We went for ramen again at the ramen place that serves this big bowl of moyashi ramen.

There here was taken from my hotel room the next morning.

After checking out, I immediately took the shinkansen back. I was very lucky to be in the new shinkansen. Hence, it is very clean and bright. I prefer the newer trains as the are cleaner and more comfortable.

 

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Hiroshima-ekimae (ダイワロイネットホテル 広島駅前) stay

Business trip kinda day again.

Snapped this while on the shikansen.

Arrived at Hiroshima station and immediately grabbed late lunch.

Went it this teishoku place and got myself this double main dish set as I was super hungry!

The food there was delicious and feels healthy. I like that they have a nice selection of veg.

After that, I moved to the hotel.

The room is not bad, it had a nice big table for me to work and a massage chair!

The bathroom also has a separate bath which was nice.

I managed to soak for about 5 minutes before my sleeping as I was so busy the entire evening replying emails.

This was my room, on the 15th floor.

Dinner that night was this Hakata Paitan Ramen that I bought from the supermarket.

The next day, I moved to Tokuyama station for work and spent the night at Route Inn Tokuyama Ekimae Hotel (ホテルルートイン徳山駅前)

My big bowl of moyahsi ramen which I could only finish half because of the ridiculous amount of moyashi on it. But I guess it should be healthy in a way as I was eating so much bean sprouts.

Dinner that night at the hotel restaurant was this dry soba.

This here is breakfast the next morning. This place is always filled with men and I am usually one of the few ladies there. Sometimes, I am the only lady there. 

Shinkansen back home. As I have accumulated some point on my app, I managed to upgrade my seat from the normal class to the green class. I like the green cars as the seats are wider. They have less people and hence, provides a quiet environment for work.
