Nagasaki gotouchi sakaba at Nihombashi

Walked out from Bellesalle Nihombashi to this cute illumination.

It's my mission to snap a pic of pretty Xmas trees~

Met up with some friends for dinner that day and we went to a gotouchi sakaba from Nagasaki.

Nagasaki paripari salad 790 yen

Yummy crunchy salad~

A very special and interesting looking lemonade bottle, 490 yen. Luckily, it's not just looks and tastes good.

Ojika akahamachanpon 890 yen

Doesn't this look like a Malaysian dish? hahaha.....it was sooo good! I like that it was slightly spicy. and that it's packed with veg an seafood! I will definitely be back for this!

Goukai kaisen sara udon 790yen

This too reminds me of a chinese dish in Malaysia. Packed with seafood and veg......super good! I think the next time I miss Malaysian food, I'll just come here! hahaha

No kidding, I was seriously super happy when I first saw and tasted the chanpon!

It's a nice place too as they have small rooms if you want a little, private space to chit-chat while enjoying food with your friends.

Art Aquarium

After dinner, we headed back to Coredo for the Art Aquarium and was surprised to find that there was no queue at all~!!!! 

Lucky!!!

I'm so glad that we came back because it was super beautiful~

A brief explanation

The aquariums~

You get to see many different kinds of gold fish there! Some I've never seen before.

The tanks and lighting makes everything looks amazing!

One of the most interesting gold fish I've seen that night! Look at their puffy cheeks!!!!

A little info on the water environment

Since it's night time, there was a DJ there and they served alcohol so you can have your drink and dance to music while enjoying the art aquarium.

They have many amazing pieces there....

They look amazing with the lights

Only problem was that there were so many people there that it was hard to snap picture of the exhibits.

Also some people just hog a certain exhibit without caring that there were others behind them that wanted to view the exhibits too.

Lol.....ppl queuing just to get some pictures.

The last and final exhibit was amazing.

This screen here will transform into various zen sceneries and there's matching traditional Japanese music in the background too.

 

Lol...only one good shot of myself by K san. Arigatou~! There were just too many people to get a good shot.

Nihombashi and Marunouchi

Visited Nihombashi, as in the real bridge, for the first time with K san. 

I didn't know that the bridge had such a significance.

The bridge was really pretty and there were many tourists in the area with tour guides explaining about the bridge's history.

There were also some local photographer there taking pictures of the bridge.

We were supposed to head to Coredo for the Art Aquarium but because the queue was too long, we walked to Marunouchi area and went to the nearby castle grounds instead.

There were so many joggers in the area. I guess the long, flat ground make for a nice jogging ground.

While we were not allowed to enter, the view from outside was pretty too....

I read online there are rental bikes nearby. I want to come and cycle around the castle grounds next time.

After that we grabbed dinner at Oden Kashimin (おでん かしみん), Marunouchi Iiyo!

I came here with Steph and couldn't get a seat before.

I love how they used charcoal to heat the oden and there's so many condiments for the oden.

The food there was amazing, especially the daikon!!!! Love oden, this would be the perfect dinner on a cold autumn/ winter night!
