Surprise night with the girls

Invited the girls to uni for a dinner experience at the student's restaurant one night. But unfortunately, my reservation didn't go through and so we didn't have seats. But thankfully, the manager/lecturer was super helpful and managed to get us seats while still serving us what we wanted.

After that we went for desserts at Donutes where Jas and seawitch surprised me with this!

And this!!! as my Bday and graduation gift!!

Bday moments~

hahaha.....my lovely gift in the mail! Strawberry and chocolate cake from Chong.

The best gift from the mail came from cuzzie who sent me an underwear!!! hahaha.....

Early in the morning, I thought of doing something different and requested for McD breakfast! :D 

hehehe......here's my fillet-o-fish with hash brown!

For lunch, it's chicken and cheese pie from Starbucks and it was delicious~!!!

Both my breakfast and lunch were extremely filling~!!! and sooo sinful~!!!

Then for dinner, Amanda and I went to Yuzu and the Gardens~

Here's our delicious dinner set~!!! Look at it~ looks great and tastes amazing! :D

After that, we had desserts at Madame Waffle at Midvalley! Thanks to Amanda for the treat! :D

Here's our original waffle wtih earl grey and vanilla lavender ice cream, topped with toasted marshmallow, oreo and almonds.

It was definitely a great day~ 

That day was also my last day working at M Uni. So many things happened on the same day for me, so many thoughts and emotions ran through my head.......we chatted about relationships, life and about our future......

Can't believe that I'm already at this age! Time to make more new plans for the future, to achieve new dreams and gain new experiences.

Then during weekend, sensei bought me a cake from Komugi! I'm super thankful! Sensei buys me a cake every year and I just couldn't thank him enough for it!

Bday treat at Jogoya

And to wash all that down before I continue on with the mains again......first, a chocolate ice cream and then followed by a tart raspberry ice cream!

Right, after that it's time to continue with the mains again. 

Pan-fried cod fish~ Yummy, but I prefer the salmon fish head to this.

A seafood hot pot! I enjoyed the noodles and mushroom with the milky soup.

Another scoop of chocolate ice cream~ hehehe.....

Birthday at the zoo??

keke...nope, but we do have some weird creatures attending this party!

This is a surprise celebration for ze' seawitch and ze' mutate sheep at Plan B, with cakes from their favourite shop-Alexis!!!

Though the staffs insisted that we get cakes from them, T-cell managed to 'force' them into allowing us to bring cakes from outside.

Ze' seawitch and ze' mutate sheep thought it was a gathering organized by YL, so they were completely dumbfounded when the waiters brought out the cakes. I think they were wondering why is their fav. cakes being served there~ hahaha....

First time trying their burgers...this here is there fisherman's catch if I remembered correctly. The fish fillet was tough and kinda dry, so I don't think I'll order this again....but the four colour chips were lovely.

I think they were 3 different kinds of potatoes and yam. Sad~ that the portion was so small :(

This spicy chili crab pasta is yummylicious. Though it's good, it's best to share it as the portion is kinda huge and no matter how good the food is...when you had too much of it, you'd get bored with the taste?

Mushroom pasta was ok, nothing to shout about. But we did notice that it was cooked with a LOT of olive oil~

Tried this Asian style soft shell crab pasta once before with seawitch who said it tasted like "kam heong" and thus didn't really like it. I didn't really enjoy this dish that night too as it was too salty. 

However, there is one dish that always deliver - Mushroom soup. Every single time we order it, it tastes great! Thick and filled with loads of mushrooms! Yummy~~ :D

I'm guessing that this is the ceasar salad. Not sure about how it taste as I did not try this but it looks kinda sad from the picture. 

But alas, no matter how good the meal is....the most important is still the company. Here we have the '09 UBMC peeps. We reminisce the old times, chatted about our peers and spoke about our 'near' future~

Hopefully, 10 years down the road, we will still be able to have a nice gathering such as this.....maybe with the additional spouses/ children/ erm.....pets? hahaha.....

Bday cake

I've been super busy these few days and will be till before X'mas....and it doesn't help that I keep procrastinating either.

hehee....which is why I'm here...

Lol, anyways this is this year's Bday cake....yes, from RT again, but hey, at least it was yummy!

This is from Lina~ I thought what did I do at first because the mail came from HK Uni. Then I saw the note inside. Mum was wondering what it was and I told her it was a passport holder.....turns out I'm right!!

It looks like is when you flip it open. Got a coin pocket and 2 smaller pockets for tickets or receipts. Good for travelling.

Then when you close it up, it's like this....just slightly bigger than a passport!

Seawitch's bday 2011

4 months late....but yea......

Had lunch together at Coffee Chemistry Signature at First Subang Mall.

Well seawitch is a coffee lover, so a place that serves good coffee would be ideal.

Hair was long and black back then.......hmm.....

What does the non-coffee drinker do? She opts for tea...

This little appetizer was surprisingly good and the portion was huge, Mushrooms + Cheese + Egg~

The main was unfortunately a let down. This herb infused rice was too dry and hard, the veges were tasteless....

......the accompanying chicken in mushroom gravy was a huge let down too.

This smoke salmon salad on the other hand was lovely. Once again, huge portions~

The best part was the dressing, mangoes~!!!

No meal is complete without desserts, so we had macarons which.....were unfortunately not very good too.......

Yea, so I guess this is a good place for a light snack with a cuppa but so far we haven't been back....
