Day 3

YL stayed over the night before as we were at seawitch's place till past mid night.

In the morning, we went for breakfast with the family at Jin Xuan. Dim Sum is like the family thing to do. And I enjoy the dim sum there.

Tada, my favourite dish there....which is not a traditional dim sum dish at all. Lol...

The for lunch, I had not 1 but 2 bowls of this delicious watercress soup that mum made. This is one of my favourite soups. I just wish that I could get a big bunch of watercress here too.

For dinner, I met up with the dance gang for Nyonya food in SS2.

Stole a bite from Sky's ice kacang...I wished that this would come with more gula melaka.

We had chicken, squid, mango salad, curry fish head and stir fried paku,

Overall the food was ok. I think the one the we went to years ago was better.

But still, the curry fish head was good and so is the paku veg,

Stole another bite from Amanda's cendol.

After dinner, we went to Joy St. for some delicious ice cream. They serve some interesting flavour like avocado mango, which was delicious.

Some pictures from the night taken by Jeffrey.

Can't wait to see them in Tokyo this Nov~

Banana...nanana....

Last meet up with Moon & Nick before leaving for Japan!

We went to Sri Nirwana Maju at Bangsar.

3 different types of rice here.....the chicken briyani, mutton briyani and the normal white rice which is not visible in this frame hahaha...

That plate of fried squid in the middle costs RM20! hahaa....never knew it was that expensive before! But luckily they were good. I particularly enjoyed the fried bitter gourd and papadum, which went very well with my curry drenched rice. :D

After that, it was desserts time at Nutmeg at Bangsar Village II. They had a lot of interesting cake flavours. If you like fruit cakes, do drop by Nutmeg as they have very interesting flavours.

Since we were obviously still very full from lunch, we decided to share a cake.

Chocolate flourless cake with hazelnut meringue. I enjoyed the hazelnut meringue with the cake.....if only the vanilla ice cream had a bit more depth to it! It's lacking the creamy texture that I like in ice cream.

After forgetting to take a group pic the last time we met up, we remembered this time!

And we had 2 this time! hahaha......even though I was the only who changed pose.

Bangsar- Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf

Dinner night with Amanda~

We went to Three Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf at Bangsar.

My lemonade

Carbonara~

Omg, this was super creamy and super yummy! I always love a good carbonara with bacon and egg!!!

We also had another pork dish. It was delicious too but slightly on the salty side. I will definitely go back for more porky goodness~

As usual, after dinner....we got to have out dessert fix! This time, it was at Inside scoop and I got the best chocolate gelato ever in a super delicious hand-made cone!

This was the first time I've ever tried Inside scoop, and I've been hooked ever since!

As if desserts after dinner wasn't enough, we both headed to Tous Les Jours after that for some tea~ hahahahaa

But it was a great night filled with girls talk!
