Bye bye Tokyo

After tea, I headed back to the hotel to collect my luggage and headed straight to Narita as I flew with Mas. The Airport is further away from the city compared to Haneda, hence for those flying through Narita, it's better to give yourself more time to for travelling.

Got some time to burn while at the airport after my last minute shopping and was sooo tempted to just buy one ice cream from this vending machine that was next to where I was resting.

This trip has truly been a great one filled with lots of great memories with others.

Here are some gifts I received fro the other participants.

From Vietnamese and Myanmar. I also received a Vietnamese hat, bracelet and tea from Sri Lanka.

From Nepal

Bought this for my Japanese classmates

Gundam's ningyoyaki!

Red bean snacks in the shape of Gundam. All are different~

Shiseido Sheet masks~ Very good product~ I highly recommend this!

Some pictures from the Johnny's shop to commemorate my trip there because I doubt that I will be visiting that place that much.

And lastly, to commemorate my first ever 711 lucky draw! hahaha....I paid 500yen for the Kisumai lucky to draw with hopes to win the luggage bag and I got this, the bag charm! Lol.....but this was the 2nd prize though, so it wasn't that bad.....hahahha

Yay~ finally I finished my Tokyo 2013 series of posts!

Lunch (Ducky Duck) and tea with Shar

Met up with Shar/Akane-chan at Ikebukuro;s Metropolitan Plaza for lunch at Ducky Duck.

This is my ikura and asparagus carbonara! Yummy~ First time having carbonara with ikura and omg!!

Shar with her mentaiko and squid pasta

Mentaiko goes really well with pasta!

My hot tea~

Our set lunch comes with a cake and coffee/ tea so here's Shar's chocolate cake

Then here's my vanilla cake!

Beautiful and yummy~

Love the atmosphere, food and the good service here!

Very good pictures snapped by Shar using her Pro-camera

Next, she brought me around Ikebukuro to shop for some cheap perfumes and books.

Some elementary school was having their school trip~

I think we should do this to our ATM machines too.....set up a private booth! So that the person using it can feel safer and have more privacy~

After shopping, we had some desserts at a cafe in the area.

A closer look at the desserts, this is mine with berries and ice cream~ I love the berries sooo much! They went so well with my waffles and ice cream!

Shar's waffles with chocolate cake~

Seriously, you can just walk into any cafes in Japan and the food will be amazing!

Last stop

Finally, my last day in Tokyo for this trip.

Woke up early to rome around the neighbourhood that I'm in because Tokyo is just too big and I doubt that I will stay in the same neighbourhood again for my next trip. And I really like this neighbourhood.

Last minute shopping at Paris kids in Harajuku. I spotted something in my last trip which I did not get and suddenly felt that I should.

I love taking pictures of an empty railway and platform

Next I headed to Ikebukuro as I was supposed to meet Shar for lunch but I was early so I started roaming around the malls in the area.

Safety is of utmost important in Japan. This here is Lumine.
Look at how they cover up the entire escalator just for renovations. You can't go near it in anyway on that level or even peek into it.

This is the symbol for Ikebukuro, an owl~

So cute~!!

Decided to head to the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Space again to see the building in the morning and spotted some street performers nearby.

Next it's straight to the Metropolitan Plaza for some window shopping before lunch.

Sushi dinner at Ganzo Sushi in Shinjuku + Starbucks + Haagen Dazs supper

At night, I met up with Mish, her junior and friend at Shinjuku station to go for sushi together

Her friend brought us to a good sushi restaurant in the area and here are some of the food I had. Thought that it might be rude to snap pictures of food of others in front of her japanese friend. so I refrained from doing so.

I love this salmon sushi~!!

Can't remember what this was...

Mish's junior

Mish and her friend

Interesting one......mentaiko with nagaimo, not a huge fan!

hm....can't remember what this was too....

Normal salmon sushi

Ebi~

Tamago, just cause I wanted to see if there's any difference with the ones here in Malaysia. This is good and less sweet!

Us girls!

I love this meatball on tamago sushi! That sauce is just super yummy! I think I had about 7 plates in total......was super full after dinner!

After dinner, we strolled around for a bit.
These 2 were guiding us through the streets of Shinjuku at night!

Limited starbucks drink recommended by Mish~ Seriously, this is how Japan takes my money....all their gentei items!

Went out till so late at night that the station was completely empty!

Ice cream at midnight!  Best Haagen-Dazs flavour ever!!

Plus a bag of chips while I watch TV! hahaha.....

This was what I was watching! Some science program! So boring right? But oh so interesting for the nerd in me!
