Patisserie Sadaharu Aoki Paris Marunouchi Store (パティスリー サダハル アオキ パリ 丸の内店)

We visited Patisserie Sadaharu Aoki Paris Marunouchi Store (パティスリー サダハル アオキ パリ 丸の内店) and bought some macarons!

Lol, we also bought a macaron from Lawson to compare.

We got the caramel, sesame, cassis and I forgot what the last one here. It was one of the limited edition flavours.

We also got this limited edition pistachio tart which was absolutely delicious and so beautiful!

All I can say is that there is a reason why their macaron are pricey, it is because they are super good! Omg, cant get enough of them. I can wait to get some more next time!

Highly recommend their bakes stuffs. At their Marunouchi Store, you can also dine in. Initially, we planned to do that but there was a queue when we arrived, so we decided to just buy some back home to enjoy.

Light pink strawberry~

Brought my parents to Sora no iro to let them try their famous vege soba.

Dad for the shoyu ramen while mum ordered the vege soba.

Always enjoy this, but they are soooo stingy with their soup. I feel like if I eat any slower, there will be no more soup left in my bowl because they all got absorbed by the noodles. Seriously, the bowl will be so much more enjoyable if they gave a bit more soup as I would like to drink my soup too and not just eat the ramen.

We went shopping after that and spotted light pink strawberries.

We got a box to enjoy and they were delicious :)

These light pink ones are cheaper that the white ones which I have not tried yet because they're so expensive! But I definitely love how pretty these pink ones look.

Zealander, Marunouchi

As we've been watching a lot of Masterchef, J has become interested in the beef wellington. However, that's a pretty rare item in Japan.

We searched online and found this restaurant in Marunouchi called Zealander that serves beef wellington.

The serve, entree, main and dessert with coffee or tea for 2200yen.
This here is the appetiser platter containing 5 items which you have to pay an extra 500yen for. The lam chop was super!

Here is J's beef wellington which requires and additional 300yen. It looks and taste ok for me.

Meanwhile, I opted for the NZ Ora king salmon which was yummy.

For desserts, we walked to Ginza SIX for chocolate pie with vanilla ice cream~

Nemuro Hanamaru, KITTE

I think I probably made Amanda sick of sushi by bringing her for sushi 3 times in less than 5 days.

But Nemuro Hanamaru is super good~!!!

Their sushi is really fresh and good!

This here is the famous fried chicken from Hokkaido~ They're huge and juicy!

Love how they have a little flag on the sushi so you don't get confused and know what you're eating.

Their aburi is really no joke, you can see the burnt marks on the fish.

As you can see, the slices are really thick, so naturally they're no that cheap.

Their soup is also good and they come with lots of ingredients in them.

I feel like I always overeat when I'm here! As you've got to queue for about an hour before you get a seat, so you really build up an appetite!

I definitely have to try this shop too when I visit Hokkaido!!!

A group pic~

A touristy picture in front of Tokyo station.

It's really pretty inside Tokyo station too. Do check it out~

I always prefer this side of Tokyo station because the building has a classic feel to it.

It's so nice to see these two again and to catch up with them~!

As it was autumn, we also went to catch some gingko trees and got some really nice pictures.

Mary's Cafe

Stopped by Kitte building for some desserts and we realised that there happened to be a HK pavillion going on there. And look at the crazy queue outside the pavillion! We initially wanted to drop by but that line was just too crazy, we decided to just go for desserts.

We decided to grab desserts at Mary's Cafe because their menu looked great!

I like that they served a good range of chocolate drinks and desserts~

We ordered an ice blended chocolate and a hot orange chocolate.

The ice blended one was super flavourful that I couldn't stop, it tasted like a super rich ice cream. The orange one was good too if you enjoy citrus flavour.

We ordered the vanilla creme brulee which was super pretty! This is probably one of the prettiest creme brulee that I had. I really like the berry ice cream and nuts that were topped on the creme brulee.

The second desert that we had was the chocolate milli feuille which I felt was just ok. The best part was the chocolate milli feuille, which was layered with chocolate mousse.

I will definitely be back again for more chocolate desserts.

Lunch at Kakoiya (かこいや)

When we went to Marunouchi on that day, we came across a kind of yosakoi festival in the area.

We went for lunch at Kakoiya (かこいや).

We both ordered their lunch sets.

J had the beef rice set which came with an onsen tamago and miso soup. The beef was yummy and I feel like the onsen tamago adds a nice accent to the dish.

I had the temdon and soba set. I like that the soba was served was hot and that the tsuyu was not too salty. The tendon was yummy and it was nice that they gave the sauce separately so that you can control the flavour.

Day out in Marunouchi, Hibiya and Ginza area

First off, we grabbed lunch at one of my favourite lunch place.

I love their croissants~ they're freshly baked and super yummy!

YL had the pasta while I had the pork.

As we were late, my favourite lunch plate has been sold out.

After that, we went to grab some pictures with the iconic Tokyo station building.

:D

After that, we walked to Hibiya to check out the new mall which we had to queue in to get to!

And we got to take pictures with Godzilla~ Lol

After that, we walked to Ginza for some watermelon, which was super sweet!

We also dropped by Ginza Six to check out their rooftop garden.

We were joined by Yh in Ginza.

We then waked all the way back to Tokyo station for Sora no iro's vegan ramen.

It's interesting that different shop serves different ramen.

We all ordered this vegan ramen which had a carrot based soup.

I only wished that they gave us more soup!

I really enjoy the soup and all the vegetable toppings!
