Overall, the food was interesting as I've never really had bar food before.

After dinner, we walked past a doughnut shop and spotted this huge giant glazed doughnut!

After dinner desserts at N2 extreme gelato

Address: 329 Brunswick St, Fitzroy VIC 3065, Australia

The cute chalkboard menu

I ordered the big fat baklava~
....which came with honey spiced walnuts and puff pastry, served with pistachio praline dusted whipped cream and a syringe of salted caramel. But since I'm not a fan of whipped cream, I opted for mine without it.

Best liquid nitrogen ice cream I've ever had~! I've never quire enjoyed the local ones as the texture was always not that good. But this one here is amazing!!! Plus with all the extra condiments, the gelato was to die for......which explains their long queues~

A perfect sweet ending to my amazing Melbourne trip~!!! :)

Day 16: Mount Dandenong

Last day trip for this round of my trip to Melbourne....

Here we are at SkyHigh Mount Dandenong~

Address: 26 Observatory Rd, Mount Dandenong VIC 3767, Australia

The place is so happening!

When we were there, we witnessed a marathon, a wedding ceremony, plus there were so many activities there for tourists.

There's even a little garden that we could explore~

Best part of all, the weather was really nice when we were there!

The sun was shining brightly but the weather was cooling~

Hence, we were able to snap so many pictures there.

There's also an observatory there where great views~

Truly thankful to have these 2 with me throughout my trip! Thanks to them, my trip has been filled with so much fun activities~!!! :D

There's also a cafe there and a souvenir shop!

After that we explored around Mount Dandenong in search of some food~ and found this! hahaha....

We stopped by Miss Marple's Tea Room~

Address: 382 Mount Dandenong Tourist Rd, Sassafras VIC 3787, Australia

Devonshire scones~
Miss Marple's famous light and fluffy scones
We ordered two plain scones (AUD9.5) which were served with delicious home-made strawberry jam and lashings of freshly shipped cream

Really like this raspberry jam~ went super well with the scones~

The whipped cream was light and fluffy~

Belgian waffles that were served with creamy vanilla ice cream, topped with berries and a delicious berry sauce.

We also ordered their Yorkshire Gold tea (AUD4/pax)

Overall, it was a good experience as the food was really yummy. But beware that you might need to wait a while for seats due to the crowd.

The cakes at Beatrix are really interesting and I've never seen flavour combinations like these before.

Pear-a-misu cake! Layers of mascarpone crema, poached pear, pear jelly, sponge and coffee

I'm usually not a fan of tiramisu, but I really enjoyed this, especially the pear!!!

Apricot crumble cheesecake with cinnamon cookie crust

Love this as it has everything that I like....cookie crust, cheese, crumble, apricot and cinnamon!

Black forest cake with sour cherries~

I'm not a fan of black forest too but this was good.

Haven't seen this gal since our Kpop days like 7 or 8 years ago! hahaha.....looking back, I can't believe some of the silly things that we did but they were definitely fun.

The kitchen was behind these huge bunny chocolate statues!

There's also a cafe there where one can order food or ice cream.

There's also some free tasting available at the chocolate counter. You can get a taste of milk chocolate, dark chocolate and white chocolate. I absolutely love the dark chocolate! So much that I bought some~

See this Lulu~ She just cannot sit still, climb here, climb there.....and in the end, rests on my feet! hahahaa

My tourist shot~
