Kudansihta area

Early morning and we had gindaco for breakfast! Lol~

We also shared some KFC's~ The round thing here is the biscuit which comes with maple syrup and it's yummy. I think it will be a hit in Malaysia.

And one coleslaw, just because we wanted some veg.

After our super unhealthy breakfast, we went to Tokyo Daijingu.

Spotted some pretty tsubaki on the way.

Finally at Tokyo Daijingu.

The sakura were in full bloom when we were there.

Love these yellow flowers too.

There was a wedding ceremony there on that day.

After praying, we left to Burger King for some nuggets!!!

Omg....this was such an unhealthy day!!!

After that we walked to Kudanshita's side and explored the shops there. We spotted this taiyaki shop and of course, we had to get 2!

We got the red bean and the chestnut one. I must say this taiyaki here is pretty good. I wouldn't expect any less as there was a long queue outside.

This place is called くりこ庵 (kurikoan).

This shopping street is pretty interesting as there are many things to see.

After that we went to Chidorigafuchi with the intent to ride on the boat.

Unfortunately, the queue was super long.....it was at 2 hours while we were there. So we decided that nope, we will just take some pictures and leave.

It was neat sunset and hence, the sky was looking pretty.

We went for a light dinner at ももがゆ家 (momogayuya) which specialises in porrdige and smoothies. We ordered 2 different porridge, a pumpkin and chicken one to share. I absolutely love the pumpkin one.

We also ordered a pumpkin salad which was yummy. The fruit smoothie we had was good too. The food was good but as we didn't order the big portion, it wasn't enough to last us for the night.

As we were leaving, the shop was getting ready to close and we saw this cute sigh on their door.

As we were still hungry, we stopped by Cafe de Crie for some desserts.

I had the sakura chiffon cake while J had the sandwich. I think one is the egg sandwich while hte other is turkey.

Look how happy he is with the sandwiches! :D

Dinner at Roppongi

It was my day off, so I decided to go to Starbucks to continue working on my earrings while I wait for J to get off work.

When you dun go to Starbucks often and you made the wrong order for the drink.....Lol~ I initially wanted the smallest size but I ended up ordering the largest size. I only realised it as I was waiting for the drink. I was wondering why was it so expensive and when it came, I was shocked to see how big it was!

I'm glad that I managed to finish making all the small parts to complete this earring. It was the toughest one I've made and also took the longest time.

After work, J came to pick me up from Starbucks and we grabbed dinner at Cafe Singapura.

We got served some free keropok as we waited for the dishes to arrive. We ordered a plate of fried carrot cake. It was slighty different from what I expected but the taste was good.

We also shared a plate of char kuey teow. It was not bad...but lacking in some "wok" taste.

Then of course, we have to order the chicken rice too! It was good. I only wished for the rice to be more fragrant.

After that, we went for a walk for some night sakura. :)

Absolutely love the colours here.

Spot the Tokyo Tower?

Sakura at Roppongi

I've been to this section of Roppongi for sakura at night but not during the day.

I'm really surprised by the number of people having a picnic there on a working day. But I guess many of them are mothers or housewives.

Shidarezakura~

Lol~ this is super cute. I found some kids playing by the rocks and one was even topless. I can feel the summer energy from them even though it's only spring!

That section just now were for those who brought their own picnic mats and food. Then there is this section for the high class picnic~ High class because you get a proper table and chair with props such as pillows or blankets. You can order cute high tea food and champagne served in glasses.

Here's one where the people just left. Look at how fancy the setting is?

Next here is probably is most popular spot.

This scene here is probably one of the most common ones you see for sakura in Roppongi. I have taken pictures here for night sakura for the 3 years straight.

Night Sakura at Naka-Meguro

Date night at Naka-Meguro for night sakura.

It was my first time here when there's an actual night festival going on so there crowd is crazy.

But we were there when the sakura were fully bloomed too so it was either we go this weekend or miss the sakura at their prime season

While the crowd was crazy, I'm really happy that we went on that night!

The sakuras were super pretty~

After that we went for ice cream at Baskin Robbins.

heehee, that blue one was the Naka-Meguro special during that season. We also ordered the chocolate and salted caramel! :D

Vie de France

It's been a long time since I ate at Vie de France. The last time was when I was in Osaka with the girls in 2016.

I have to agree that they do serve pretty good bread there. I also like how they always come up with new stuffs.

After brunch, we went to check out the sakura nearby.

The weather was lovely and many people were having picnic there.

Wished we had brought a mat for a picnic there too, but unfortunately we didn't. Maybe next year.

Love the pretty pink petals~

A kind lady volunteer to take our picture for us and of course, we accepted! I like how the flowers are so close together and that the trees are about human height. :D
