Day 5: Stranded in Bali

This was supposedly our last day in Bali as we were supposed to catch a plane flight back to KL in the evening if only our flight didn't get cancelled.

Cousin's Chef friend works at the Rimba Jimbaran Hotel, hence we decided to visit this restaurant called TO'GE at the hotel for lunch before heading to the airport.

As appetisers, we were served this warm bread with a yummy sauce which I had no idea what it was.

This turned out to be the most expensive meal we've had in Bali and the most expensive hainanese chicken rice we've ever had in our lives~

But what to do, as the Head chef was from Singapore, this was his speciality dish and it was indeed DELICIOUS~!!!!

The hainanese chicken rice set came with a bowl of super fragrant chicken rice, a plate of chicken, a bowl of soup and 3 sauces!

Lol~ we each ordered a set. While the meal may be expensive, but it was definitely delicious~ but I don't think I'd ever spend that much on chicken rice ever again though.

Cousin saw pictures of this beautiful hotel in Nusa Dua and wanted to have a look before we leave so we dropped by and true enough. It was super grand. But I think my favourite will still be Ayana Resort & Spa Bali due to the amazing views from the Rock Bar! A must visit the next time I return to Bali~!!!!

Well, we eventually arrived early at the airport only to find out that there's a possibility of our flight being cancelled. But we still stayed and hoped that our flight would be fine, but alas, after 2 hours of wait.....it was cancelled and we had to spend another night in Bali. In total, our flight was delayed for about 26 hours~ hahaa.....definitely, a tiring wait!

Day 4 Thai dinner at Rung Rheung

We ordered the tom yum soup which was delicious~!!!

A salad.......spicy, sour, sweet and refreshing~

Pandan chicken were super succulent but also super tiny! hahaha.....

Can't believe that it was already our last night in Bali if not for the flight cancellations.

Day 4: Tanah Lot & Suluban

The view was absolutely amazing.....

Unfortunately, we couldn't take a closer look at the temple as it was high tide when I was there.

On the way back, we walked past a shop that sells Luwak coffee but what interests us was this....huge bat that was pulling on its own penis!

Lol.....cousin managed to make some friends with some footballers~

Next up, we headed to Uluwatu

And visited, cousin's boss shop - Ajito Bali~

There we walked down some super steep and narrow concrete steps to reach this amazingly beautiful place which I also spotted in the instagram of Victoria Secret model -Candice~

Of course, I'm no model material! hahahaha

But the view was amazing! Plus when we were there, there were many young girls posing in their swimsuits in the same area while surf enthusiasts brought along their surf boards and headed towards the sea!

This amazing place is called the Blue Point Beach in Bali or Suluban~ For those who love beaches and a picture perfect moment, they should definitely visit this place!

After that, we also visited the beautiful Uluwatu temple at the top of a hill~

Again, there was some prayers going on at the temple

Walk up towards the temple and you will be rewarded with this amazing view~

Day 3 - Kuta beach, Beachwalk shopping mall and Jimbaran beach dinner

Day 3 was a really relaxing day......

After swimming, we enjoyed a nice breakfast and watched some TV shows before going out.

We first stopped by Discovery shopping mall where we grabbed some light lunch.

After that, we stopped by Beachwalk shopping mall.

The mall was definitely pretty with an amazing view of the beach.

We just couldn't help ourselves and snapped a lot of pictures there.

After that was a short walk on the beach where omg....can't one just have a quiet walk on the beach? No one....no one every leaves you alone. 

Leng lui, we got space here! Surfing lessons? Konnichiha! Nihao!......and I'm like "No, thanks!"

For dinner, we went Jumbaran beach, where we dined at Menega Cafe.

The view was definitely amazing.

Unfortunately, we can't say the same for the food though.
