1st day of IIP

I thought I was going to be late as registration starts at 8.30 and I only left home at 8. As you all know, LDP and Federal is always super jam at that hour! But luckily I arrived at exactly 8.30!!! and manatau, I'm the earliest person!!!! haaha....

Since the lady said that the dress code for the 1st day is formal.....so, formal it is! And I've been marching around in my heels the whole day!! I seriously can't walk well in heels. Thus I don't bother buying those sandal type. I wore the dancing shoe with the rubber base made for walking on normal grounds. Since there's so many straps around my feet and ankle, I didn't have to worry about accidentally leaving my sandals behind when I walk! haahaha.......

I can never understand how ppl can walk with 4 inch heels with only 2 tiny straps at the front of their feet(around the toe area), without any extra straps at their ankle. Aren't they afraid they'll leave/ drop their shoes behind when they walk faster/ run???

Yea, but everyone looked so nice today. Like Professionals....haaha.

Today's topics was not bad. We even had role-playing in the morning, where there's 3 panels and 1 employee. The 1st group did really well. I think all of them have just recently graduated and went for their job interviews thus they shared a lot of the questions that they were presented with during their job interview. So interesting!

The 2nd group, which included me as 1 of the 3 panels of employers. I was the product specialist??? When they lady asked me to try, I was like, "I'm not a business student......I'm from FES(Faculty of Engineering & Science)......" haaha....cause a lot of the things shared were business related. But she said it's ok as the employee is an engineering student. I asked if I could be the employee instead...but too bad la! So we asked some questions and I was dumbfounded because we got a super confident employee that I don't even know what to say when he answered!

There were 42 person taking the IPP and most of them are FAM(Faculty of Accountancy & Management) students. I think FAM students are more sporting of events/ soft skills like these. Even the other programs that were taking place today, FAM students dominates. In FES, many students don't even bother with SSCU programs. Some don't even know what it is, when ppl in charge will come to our campus every semester.



Saw WL whom I met last time during the inter-faculty Buddhist Society meeting. After lunch with 5 pretty FAM girls, 1 girl said that she had seen me before in Kpop Kingdom at their Ampang office!! I'm like, "OMG, you saw me with a bunch of girls....touching the huge dongbang poster, taking pictures and making lots of noise is it?"

"Yes!"

That's why...you should never do weird things like MOLEST a big poster with JJ's face on it while taking pictures!!! Btw, I didn't molest a piece of paper ok!! I just used the word so that the effect would be more dramatic! What do you think I am? Some crazy fan girl?? haaha

We had tea break at 11.30 and lunch at 12.30!!! Unfortunately we were the last group to have our tea break...thus sooo close to our lunch time! I think because literally none of us studied in PJ campus, we didn't know how to get around so we ate lunch at a newly opened "Old Town Kopitiam" nearby. This franchise is really getting BIG!!! It's everywhere!!! There's even one near my campus! All selling Ipoh Old Town's Famous White Coffee!!!

Oh, we then had another tea break at 3.30!! haaha.......they provided us food for both tea breaks! how nice!

I now know why they wanted us to wear formal on the first day.....Pictures!!! & my hair was in a mess! hai~

The resume and cover letter.........grrr.....what a waste of my time! No one even asked for it!!!

The gal sitting next to me had a very celestial name......Celeste!! haaha...when she told me her name, I was thinking of Ayashi no Ceres........it's a nice name! Heaven and Earth!

Ok...today's program was not bad. I did learn new things though there were some things which I thought was common sense.

I will be driving tomorrow.....hope I remember the way.......

Btw, did you know......that girls who ask their bf to carry their handbags for them are trying to show that they have control over the guy? I didn't......I never asked any guy to carry my handbag before unless it's something heavy. I don't think handbags look very nice on guys....make them look sissy.

Plus, that "to control" is part of woman's nature??? haaha.....a speaker said that her friend would be complaining about her husband & her kids...but she just loves controlling them! *ting tong bell!*

I've finally finished cleaning my room~ haaha...cleared 2 big boxes worth of book and notes out. There's just way too many books in my room.....the 2 shelves are filled with books. Now I've made space for my story books that have been collecting dust in the store room! haaha......

Will rearrange my contacts and make-ups some other time....too tired!

I recently took out a Sapphire blue contacts....it's expired! haaha....but I took it out and soaked. Seldom wear colour contacts cause I'm 10-20% blind with them! ok...not that serious, just blurred vision! haaha tat was till I found the wonderful Logic lens!! From now on, that's the only lens I will buy.....and that will be in a few years!

I looked like an alien with this 1 colour Sapphire blue lens...the fact that my iris is small makes it worse. You can actually see the blue pigments on my eye ball! I guess it only works for ppl with lighter colour hair. If anyone wanna wear blue lens, they should always opt for tri-blend!

Ooo...I painted my nails! Shiny Bright Pink! Yea.....one of Mel's pink obsession! tralala.......

I'm sooo tired and sleepy and I haven't done my resume and cover letter yet! A bit reluctant to go for my course tomorrow.....I only had 1 free day! Plus I didn't really rest at all!

Oh well, it's now 8.30pm.....better start working now....

haaha...free as a bird till tomorrow....the start of my 8 days Intensive Immersion Programme...which I totally forgot what are the courses that will be conducted!

Right, this last neuro paper was an easy paper. I've studied everything that came out on the paper. the problem is, I can't remember what I've studied! haaha....Neurobio! how could you do this to me? I'm your gf!

Most people will go karaoke/ watch movie/ go for a drink after exam.....but what did Mel do? The 1st thing she did after reaching home was clean her toilet!! haaha.....After the toilet, I cleaned up my room.......it's still in progress! I've removed everything on my shelves and replaced them in a different manner. It's now 1am and I'm too tired to continue!

The lady from the program only told me today that I have to bring my resume along with a cover letter to the program!!! I'm like what is it for? I'm only going to attend some courses. She's like there'll be HR ppl there and on spot interview! WHAT!!!! And I only got to know about this now!!! All I have is one crappy resume from industrial training which is sooo brief that it basically contains about only 10% info of a standard resume!

Arrghhh!!! and I gotta start digging out all my result slips. Eeeee....I hate getting last minute notices like this! Though she said it's not compulsary....but I still think, I should have it with me since I'm there for the training...or else, why go?

Grrr........

Supposed to join some course mates for karaoke later today.....but I don't think I can go now....gotta do the resume and cover letter.

Oh ya...I finally had dance class last week! The person we feared taught poppin'. haaha....he wasn't scary at all! Poppin' class was ok. My class has becomes sooo big...now that we've combined with another class. This is the first time I've learned sooo many moves poppin' class. But it's good, I quite like it! Cause I'm never good with free styling or coming up my own steps in poppin' class.....just learning basic simple steps first is OK! So, thumbs up for poppin'! whee~~~

As for hip-hop.......OMG!!!! It was monstrous!!! The most tiring hh class I've ever attended! er....either that or it's because I've been a couch potato for 3 weeks and never moved my butt, so I've become rusty. Yea...even the warm up stretches was different from normal.

Then we were taught some choreography which we danced to songs that go faster n faster n faster.....n then R&B songs that go slower n slower n slower.........the music's great! It's just that there's this transition part in the choreography that quite confusing and I keep bringing the wrong feet forward! Lastly, the warm down.....was definitely the killer moment for me! I wore the wrong pants!!! Cannot stretch properly ah~~~~~~ and ah! I hate stretching! I wanna cry~~~~*sniff*

After class....got back pain, leg pain, arm pain.....everywhere also pain!!! The only place that doesn't hurt is my butt! haahaa.........

The class is a bit dry for now....we'll see what happens next week. I guess many of us kinda miss our ex-instructor. His class was normally half on technical and half on attitude.....and I don't know, class just seems more fun......or it's because we sometime have 2 instructors together in 1 class and they'll bring lighten up the atmosphere and get us into the mood.

I think the funniest moment for me was when I couldn't understand what the instructor was saying.....what is "fak fak" or "fek fek"/ "fatt fatt"??? What ever it is...I'm thinking it means "know the steps well".

Before and after class, I talked to some dance mates........sigh~ I think some ppl might wanna leave while others will stay. I realised that many students from other classes, esp break dance have left. I wonder what happened.

I realised, I was probably one of the blurrest person or have really slow processing system. 2 weeks and I still couldn't digest everything properly. How come other people can think of things that have never come across my mind before? Or am I just too trusting?

After thinking through everything again, I think that many things does make sense and the pieces are slowly coming together. But the main question still remains. WHY?

I hate all these "games" which involves playing with ppl's minds or hearts. Where is the love???

Oh ya, according to a friend, it seems the archer has found a place and there's something about an opening ceremony. That's pretty fast!

last day of April

No smooth sailing this week.....

1. Made a stupid error/mistake/mess-up in my Immuno paper which cause be 9marks!! argh! Sometimes I can be sooo clueless/dumb/plain-stupid/forgetful....I need to get myself a new RAM. It's 9 marks that NOONE can answer that question wrongly!!!

2. Genetics was always my favourite subject and not being able to do well in the exam makes me feel horrible! Gah...how can I forget how to calculate D.C.O's?? Shesh! I'm normally pretty good with numbers....and Gah!!! Genetics just grabbed the top spot for being the toughest paper of the sem!! Had always heard from friends that seniors all said Gen was hard and many didn't do that well. But I thought he was being quite lenient this sem....though I don't know his teaching style last time. Ahhh~~ Genetics how could you do this to me? *sniff*

3. Ok...several weird things happened...receiving weird msgs, got asked weird questions.....

4. Gaining weight like nobody's business!!! It's always like this during exam period!

5.I didn't know that coffee can change the smell of urine. haaha, ok. I don't drink coffee...not even a tinnnnny bit! I can still survive without caffeine! (but a little bit from chocolates is perfectly fine! <3)

6. Dance.....yes? no? don't know?

7. I need love!....

haahaa......

From today onwards, my new bf is Mr. Neurobiology! I'm going to spent my next 120-140 hours with him! Don't you just love him?? All that brain.....

My laptop's been revived!! No, the doc didn't save him! His pulse just came back! Miracle huh?

Either that or he doesn't like me and has been making a fool of me!!! hmph! For almost a week, I couldn't get him started! and right after I bought a new laptop(my new bf! haha) and sent my ex to the hospital.......He came back.....alive!! without the doc's help! Arrghh.....weird things keep happening to me!!! Why!!!???

Sigh~ no dance....yesterday and today!!

Was surfing online for dance schools that offer Latin dance classes and I bumped into this dance school which offers girl hip hop. There's poppin' classes too. I think many will know the poppin' instructor as he and his group has won numerous competitions before. Girl's hip hop seemed more like my thing. But I have no idea where that place is!!! haahaa......so yea. I'm not changing dance school.....for now. I like the location of my dance school now because it's near where I stay. Quite a convenient location actually. Plus I have friends in class! Still lost and confused without a clue about anything.

At the same time....to my Shinhwa sisters!!! 10 years of friendship!!! Can I say we grew with Shinhwa?? Not literally.....but you know what I mean. Hope our friendship can last forever too!

Time really flies when you're having fun! & 10 years went by just like that! I've known you guys for almost half my life! Now that we've grown, we each have our own dreams to chase! Though we are now in different places, there's a place we can all call home - 10B!!! haaha.....

10B has been with us for 6 years?? Throughout these years......... A place where we chit-chat, spam, rant, scream, shout, laugh and cry! For how long do you think we will continue this? Even after we've graduated? married? have kids? hahaa......

I hope 10B will stay with us too. I'll be sad if 10B were to end just like that. As time passes, after O levels, then A levels/college, then after Uni/ till we graduate & work.....it's getting harder & harder for group reunion with everyone. Each in a different country, with their own schedule to follow. Don't know when the next "full" reunion will be, but I hope it happens soon.

haaha......anyone getting married??? Not just to my Shinhwa sisters, but to all my good pals since....I was born! haaha....you guys know who you are! Thanks for all the great time we've spent together-outings, cook-off, sleep-over, parties....! Thanks for lending me a shoulder to cry on! Sorry for the times where you had to listen to me rant, scream, shout or throw tantrums. But Thank you! for your patience, care and love! Thanks for the times when we chat for hours and hours on the phone! Yeap, the fon calls/sms-es! Thanks for fetching me around after you guys had your car license! My leg hurts!!!! BADLY!!!! Since during hip-hop class yesterday! I must've been my unlucky day! Just bought new shoes and the one that I'm wearing for dance....er....part of the base was loose?? It didn't come off, it was......loose! So naturally I cannot danced properly! But I got through it....keeke.....can even do turns! haaha.

But then half way through class, both my legs suddenly felt sooo tight! It's like I can't move them properly because the muscles were in a contracted state. It was sooo hard to relax and contract the muscles! & it still hurts! Every time I walk down the stairs, I feel like my leg thigh muscles aren't even contracting at all because they're already contracted!

What happened!!!??? I don't think it's lactic acid build up! I wasn't even doing much! haaha...but if this continues, I'll have nice muscle tone! I want nice arm muscle tone!!! eeee....

Was watching TV just now when my aunt told me she saw in the news that fans were saying F4 copied dongbang for their MV. My reaction, "Haiya! they everyone also say copied dongbang one la! Got new handsome singer then say ppl go plastic surgery to look like my JJ! Say wanna kill him summore! Then say S.H.E copied their song! when it's a famous classical piece. Whole wide world also copied them!"

So I decided to watch F4's new MV just now, No Escape


I watched the vid for 1min and I still couldn't see which part is similar to dongbang's. I was wondering id it's the grand piano in front....hiyaya? Vaness's blond hair?? Couldn't be...so I was wondering if dongbang got any new MV that I don't know of. haahaa......it was only until the 2nd min that I tot, "Step by step"??

Haiyoooo.......I tot what 'copied'!!!! Is that even called copied??? haahaa......many artists have that right? They were filmed walking in front of a green screen and then the editors will add in the background. It so happened their background also involves Sakura and buildings?? I thought these few are very common backgrounds. You can them in many vids!!

Poor F4, just for that few scenes with similar concept. I bet they were wondering who is dongbang and why do ppl keep saying they copied them. Seriously these kind of scenes are quite common, it just depends on what background they choose. Besides, dongbang's one is about changing of seasons. There's 5 guys but only 4 seasons, so 1 got night lo!

Thief to my own home

Haven't been feeling well since yesterday. My throat hurts!!! Lost my voice again!!!! 3rd time this year!!!

I only remember loosing my voice like once or twice before........but 3 times in a year!!!!! omg! Is it because of the horrible weather in kl? or all the unhealthy food that I'm eating now??

Was supposed to go Sg Wang for K yesterday but thank goodness the outing was off. Instead, I met up with my cousins and Sora for dinner at Pyramid.

I was supposed to be having dance class yesterday...but the 'blur' me.....went for replacement last friday because I thought I would be leaving for Ipoh yesterday! I went to UG anyways cuz I received sms from PM and I thought that the instructor wouldn't mind teaching me after the class. But turns out, I missunderstood the msg........he told PM to teach me when she sees me. Haiya, still same la! Only thing was that I wasn't dress right for dance prac!!! I bet everyone there must be thinking, "Why is this girl so weird??! She doesn't come to class during her class time but comes after the class ended. Summore dress till like tat!!!!" What!!! cannot ah!! haaha.....

Dinner-Zanmai Sushi! Yum~yum~ After calculating how much each person was supposed to pay and collected the payment, I realised that there's an extra of about RM9. Then no matter how I count it again there's still an extra! Thus I tot. "wahhh....soo nice! got extra money let's go to the shoji kiya and buy some cookies to share among everyone." But luckily I didn't because we were all bloated. I soon realised that the money actually belongs to my cousin because I overcharged her!!!! haiyooo....I'm sooo blurrrr!!!!!

After dinner, we went to Hilton Hotel PJ to check out my cousin's group's Train model. If you guys pass by Hilton PJ by chance, should go in and have a look! The train model was really pretty!!! There's 7 in the world this year and Hilton PJ's model is the 2nd largest after Seoul. If I'm not mistaken, there was a competition and the Taylor's group won with their theme, "Chritstmas across borders", lead by Jiunn.

We took quite a number of pictures there....shall post it up soon!

Btw, becareful if you do park at the free outdoor car park at Hilton PJ. When we were there last night, we saw this very suspicious looking guy in his car. He was in his car while we were looking for a parking space. When we all turned to look at him as our car passed, he quickly turned on his head lights and we thought he was going to leave, but he didn't. We found a parking space nearby but we didn't dare park because we would have to walk past him(even though there's 4 of us), thus we went to Hilton's own carpark instead. Even when we left at 11, his car was still there!!! How suspicious! It's like he's waiting for someone he could target!

When we arrived back at my house......Ta-DA-Da-daaaaaa!!!! No Electricity!!! Perfect!! My gate is an auto gate! Plus there's no one at home! Also....I forgot to bring the auto gate key out!!! I phoned my aunt who insists that the key I had with me is the auto gate key! but I know it isn't!! because it doesn't fit!

My cousin parked her car outiside my house and we all got down to try and open the gate. My cousin JY even climbed in to try open it from inside. I wish I could climb in from my house wall too...but my legs are not long enough and I'm afraid of height! Plus I've never climbed any trees before when I was young!!! Funniest thing was the house opposite mine was having some party and all the guest were seated outside the house and some looking at our direction. I bet they were wondering what he heck we're doing!

There's no one home on my left! Everyone went out...I guessed it was too hot! Then the right side, there were cars in the house and we tried banging their gate(the electronic bell doesn't work) and even shouted but no one answered. Cannot climb my own gate cuz....you just can't!(too many spikes and it's too high) I tried my left neighbour's gate, I could get up but I wouldn't dare jump in to my own house. I'm scared of height and my mum placed flower pots at every corner!

I saw an open gate a few houses away, thus I was thinking if I could get in from there and climbed across the fences of the other 2 house to get to mine! Then I have to worry if their houses have dogs!

In the end I took off 1 shoe and climbed over my right neighbour's gate! I know there are people home because the windows are opened but no one answered when I called. Couldn't be bothered if they want to call police or what! I then had to climb over another fence and becareful not to step on my mum's flower pots!

Then in the house, I couldn't swtich off my alarm!!! Nvm la, since my neighbours are either not at home or in super deep sleep already! Just let it sound! Can keep theives away too!

I later found out that the first house on my row caught fire earlier that evening and thus caused the black out on my row only!!! What an exciting evening!!!

Most adventerous day of my life!

Went up to Genting yesterday morning with YL and her coursemates. We bought tix earliest bus, 8.30am and latest bus, 8.30pm, which came in as a package deal.

On the way up via the cable car, we already felt very cold as it was drizzling and the fog was really heavy. We couldn't see where cable car was moving towards.

Once up there, we decided to head to the theme park 1st.....and it was sooooo COLD!!! We were practically freezing! The wind was very strong! The fog was still very thick! We could hardly see anything in front of us......so we decided to go for lunch 1st.

I remembered Genting's theme park to be warmer....but it was really freezing cold yesterday. And ppl were saying that Genting is getting warmer and warmer.....maybe due to global warming. Intially, I was planning to go with my normal jacket only but decided I should just take the thick one...but it's not enough!!! I should have just bought a winter jacket, together with gloves and ear muffles!

After lunch, we headed back to the park and it was still BAD! It's drizzling slightly with thick fog and super strong cold wind! My contacts were getting dry, our hair were drenched wet...well not really, it's due to the moist wind! Our hands were super cold. We were all shivering....our thick jackets is of little use. We should have brought super thick wind breakers.

Due to the fog, the view was really bad. We couldn't enjoy the beautiful scenery. Our visibility was only around 20steps??(5-10metres only) We couldn't see anything beyond that. Even friends who walked further up front, we could only see their outline!! As for those higher/taller rides....we could only see their bottom part and the rest......must be heaven! It was sooo cold that there's smoke?? when we talk.

Even though the weather was horrible, the place was still packed with locals and tourists. We went on only 5-7 rides as the lines were long. Plus we took toilet and snack breaks! It was so cold that we got hungry easily and craved hot food!

Soon the weather got sooo bad that some rides had to be closed. We were lining up for a coaster ride when we were shivering soooo badly that we could no longer stand the cold and decided to leave.

We ate a bit only as we were thinking of coming back down to KL for dinner. Thus after tea-break, we went our separate ways. A few of us went for MotionMaster, which was....a waste of my time! I remembered it to be much more exciting and the 4D images to be much clearer. But last night's one was.....BLUR! Thus I had no idea what it was showing.....as I was too busy adjusting my specs!

We decided to head back to the Skyway at 7.30pm since our bus leaves at 8.30pm. But......It CLOSED!!! The cable car service CLOSED!!! We had to either go to the Avana's one or buy a bus ticked directly down to KLSentral. A man told us that there won't be any more buses at Skyway. Panic......

Since we had no idea if we could get a bus ticket even if we took the Avana cable car, we decided to get a direct bus instead from First World Bus Terminal. We arrived there and it was....EMPTY! NO ONE~ only empty buses. All the counters were closed! So we ran around to check if any of the buses are going down to KL. Finally saw 1 bus conductor....but he just arrived!! and he told us to check with the counters. When I was roughly 10-15 steps away from the group, I could only see their shadowy figures!!! The weather was getting worse, drizzling much more heavily and the fog much thicker. The wind was a lot colder too.....I tot it might be 10degrees or lower!!

Finally, we decided we should probably spend the night in Genting for safety reasons. 1st, the fog is tooo thick! We couldn't even see what's ahead of us....what more a bus! Plus it's at night, the bus driver might be sleepy and driving carelessly. 3rd, the roads are slippery. Safety first!

We then rushed back in because we were worried we couldn't get a room as there's really a lot of people in Genting. We got a double room?? Jiunn phoned her dad who asked a friend who called another friend who asked another friend to try get a room for us.....haahaa....and we got another double room! So 5 in 1 room and the other 6 in 1.

Great! No towel, clothes, tooth brush, contact lens solution, case...!!! haiya! After we checked in, we quickly went to buy our necessities......bought toothbrush, contacts solution, face wash, this and that la.......

After leaving out stuffs in the room, we went for dinner at MaryBrown. The whole day we've been eating unhealthy, fast food......morning, some hotdog thing, then lunch...Tempura set, tea break...KFC! We then went shopping for clothes...managed to buy one tee-shirt!

By the time we were back in the room, we're already half-dead! Could hardly open my eyes.....the thing I'm most looking forward to is a hot shower and a comfy bed! There's 6 of us in a room, thus 3 person on each half of the bed!

Didn't really sleep well because it was sooo COLD! esp my feet! We didn't have anything to cover ourselves. Also there were not enough pillows.....we only managed to get extra towels from the hotel staffs!

Then at 4am in the morning, some stupid fellows were shouting and screaming like mad!!! till around 5.30am!!! Disturbing my sleep! I kept waking every half an hour. Jiunn even went to the door as she thought those people were outside out room.....but turns our, they were in the next room!! BISING!!! The YL, P and J were sleeping really peacefully, they didn't even hear anything! Only, Jiunn, LY and I kept waking up! We were all super tired and stressed!

Every one seemed to be sniffing in the morning! As we checked out, it seems that every room we walked past were filled with youngsters our age! Luckily, the cable car is in service again...the down side was, no refund for our tickets!!! and we had to buy new ones!

Yup, definitely one of the most adventerous ( or unlucky) day of my life! Never in my life had I been stranded like this before! Thank goodness there's sooo many of us! and that we were in hotel in Genting and not in a forest!!! Lucky there were rooms and we didn't have to spend out night at Starbucks! haaha......

Note to self, the next time I go Genting. I must bring a set of contacts, spec, spare clothes, super thick jacket, ATM card, mobile phone charger, hair lotion.....just in case. Toothbrush and tooth paste can buy there.

When we woke up in the morning, J asked me if I knew what room we were sleeping in. I replied "No?" She said the room we slept in is actually a 'Love room' because the focus of the room is the bed! The tv is at the side, meaning it's not the main thing. Plus our bathroom is an open bathroom! Then she said, dunno how many ppl did what thing on the bed!!!! GREAT!!!!

I don't know about all these la. I'm with 10 future architects...they know the things they studied.....so...yea!
