Received a call from the soft skills person today....don't know who, because I've never heard her voice before! This lady ah....I tell you!!!!

I've registered for financial planning about 2 months ago and K-workers less than 1 month ago, though I've always been saying since the beginning of the sem that I wanted to join K-workers.

When I registered that time, I was told there's 30 spaces and there's only 10-15 spaces left......I of course immediately registered. At the time of registration, I was told that K-workers starts from 24th of Sept.

However, because they've postponed the financial planning to 24th, the k-workers will have to start on 26??? And that was days after I have registered.

Yesterday, this lady who called me.....grr....so weird man.....she asked me to take note of the dates for FP, which I did. I was like telling her "ya...ok", and she kept asking me "did you take note of the date or not? please take note!". If I didn't have my planner/ pen and paper with me, do you think I will say yes and ask you to tell me the dates!??

After that, she like telling me many people wants to joing KW too! and this and that! And if I cannot come, I should give my place to others!!!

Like I care!!!! Soft skills workers comes to all campus grounds around once every 2 weeks....and they always inform students of the latest courses available. It all depends whether you have the initiative to join them or not! When the person said there's only 30 spots, you should register straight away la!!!! and not when ALL THE SPOTS HAVE BEEN TAKEN!

Stupid one!!! Since they've postponed the KW, the dates clashes with the start of my final year project!!! Actually I could still go for KW and just miss the last few days.

This stupid woman like really want me to cancel!!

So I told her, since they have postponed the dates, it would be INCONVENIENT FOR ME AND THAT I WOULD LIKE TO CANCEL!

Then she's like....nearly wanted to yell on the phone....."since when we postponed the dates! when you registered, it was already for 27th!!!"

Then I had to keep explaining the situation to her! Don't know whether if it's her inablity to understand english or my inability to speak english well enough to be understandable!!!

Once she finally understands it, I told her that I will still go for the FP which I HAD ALREADY REGISTERED! and there she is....telling me that registration is closed and all sorts of nonsense!!!

ALREADY REGISTERED!!!! What is it in this 2 words that she don't get man!!!!

"I had already paid 2 months ago!!!"

Asked her to check if my name is in the list, just to make sure..........and she's like, "If you have registered then it's ok la."

Oh yea! Well Thank you for being no help at all!!!!

Yesterday after all that practice and poppin, I was already feeling tired....then Z asked if we wanted to stay to prac / go home. Told him I was hungry and he said, "Selalu Lapar~~ PATUTLAH GEMUK!!!!!" and slapped my arm!!!

Tired tired tired....



Have not been getting enough sleep since last Friday after poppin' class when Z made PM, SM and I stayed back for hip-hop prac. My poppin' class is till 10+ and I'm already tired......



SM left us soon after we started. About half an hour later I asked PM, what time does she want to leave?.....no reply......she was busy thinking about the steps....hai~ another 20mins later I asked her again......still no reply!!!!! She was busy practicing! Sooo rajin~~ all I really wanted to do was go home and shower!



Ok though I enjoy dancing...there are times when I am just too lazy practice.



Poor Sora....who came to stay over that night. When I arrived home, she was already fast asleep. She woke up when I was about to go to bed and we chatted till 2am. And I woke up at 7am that morning~!



I was really excited and happy because we'll be meeting with the rest of Miracle members...less Wayne who had a meeting that day. So happy because we haven't grouped together like that for a long time! We were initially planning to celebrate Rue's Bday at a school's dance studio but unfortunately, the studio was occupied that morning. So we met up at Pyramid instead.



Went to Sushi Zanmai for lunch where we camwhored the whole time and laughed loudly throughout our meal there. We were so crazy that 4 of us tired to squeeze ourselves into 1 bench to self-cam!!! which of course, we had to ask for help from the waitress there in the end.

Was happy to hear that Sher wanted to dance with us again and that there'll be a studio ready by the end of Sept in Kepong(which I have no idea where that is!!!) I agree with her when she said that she doesn't want Miracle to just end like that because I do want to dance with them again! But till I know the location of the studio and how to get there.....it's gonna be though.



After the meet up, it's time for dance class again. And you'd think after a heavy lunch, I will be able to last for sometime. Right before my class ends, I'm already feeling hungry!!! After class, Z asked if we could stay back again!!! All I really want was....DINNER!!!!



In the end 4 of us stayed to prac the steps till I really couldn't take it anymore and had to leave for my DINNER!!!



Yea, Mel's no.1 priority is food! haaha....



I'm quite lazy, I never prac steps at home. lol~ *shhhh*



Then on Wed...I'm back again for dance prac!!! Arrived at 6.30pm to find out that Z will only be arriving at 10! Ok....I'm like seriously the laziest person around. The others just kept prac and dancing to the steps over and over again. PM is really hardworking. Z should really include her in all her future performances.



Talking about perf. I still don't get why he asked us to do it. Initially, I thought it would be the whole class....but in the end there's only 4 of us. There's sooo many advanced dancers in the dance school with so much more experience. haha....maybe it's a beginner's level hiphop dance! hahaha!

Just heard from Ursula yesterday that "ppl" are trying to band Avril Lavigne's concert in Malaysia.

Like WTH?

Accroding to those "ppl", it's bad influence on teens!!

Like....how???

Gosh, they had already banned Beyonce's concert here last time bacause of her sexy clothings.

Seriously don't see any problem.....

Ppl go to concerts to enjoy! For the music! It's like a party or gathering of ppl with similar interests! What's wrong with that?

For all you know...in the future, maybe 10 years from now. Only Male singer are allowed to hold concerts! wearing tux the whole time! till they get sooo hot, exhausted and dehydrated that they faint!

Yea, and I just read in today's paper that a local U is planning to open its door to....ppl like me, with diff skin colour/ foreign students. Unfortunately, there must've been some misunderstanding somewhere or what but their ppl have decided to go against it.

Doesn't really matter to me because there's sooo many private U in Malaysia. People are spoilt with choices now.....choosing a U is like picking a dress from a clothing store. Plus I myself study in a private U so yea.....but I did consider applying to a local U to do a language course after I graduate.

Also in the same paper, there's this letter from the public regarding this issue and the person suggest that since ppl don't wanna open their door, maybe they could opt for having student exchanged btw local and private institutions for 1/2 semesters. And why does that person have to use my Uni name as an example to go for the student exchange??? Ok, I know we have lots of chinese.

If it's a student exchange programme to overseas then it would be great. But this.....hai~

Don't know about other people, but I don't like the idea of studying in BM. I love studying in Eng. For me, I would be at a loss. I think this is the only down side.

Other than that, an opportunity to study for a short while...in local U is not so bad, considering they do have more facilities since they are funded!!! ECA facilities, research labs, equipments, libraries........

Overall, I don't think there's anything wrong with the uni accepting new students as we are all children of this country.

Yea....finally handed in the form and proposals for FYP.

Didn't actually fill in all my 6 choices till the night before....couldn't get myself to settle on 1 top choice....

Hope I get my 1st choice!

Anyways I was sooo blur...I prepared this proposal for a lect. regarding extracts on local plant....and I chose Broccoli as my plant!

Was watching KBS World and there's this science programme on the goodness of spinach and broccoli.....and I got sooo interested that I decided to work on Broccoli.

It's a new month again! It seems to my that July just flew past.....

Initially, I thought that no semester could be worse that last sem. This is because we've been having mid-terms, tests and lab tests from wk 5/6 till wk14!

.

This semester, we'e been having mid-terms, tests and pop quizzes from wk4 till now....wk11, and it's still on going!

.

Besides that, gotta decided on a topic for my final year project & gotta write proposals. There's not much medical related topics, I think most of the topics relate more to Biotechnology. Also, there are students from Biotech, Biochem and Biomed fighting for the topics!

.

Initially I really wanted to do the AIDS topic but after hearing that someone else is really interested in it too and that they lecturer is only taking 1 student for that topic, I decided to pick others. Plus, I've found other more interesting topics after chatting with the lecturers.

.

At the mo' I've got my top 3 topics even though we're supposed to pick 6, but I think the most important one are the top 3 choices. I'm really hoping I get my top choice. Haven't filled up my form yet, because I still haven't made up my mind yet on which one to put as the 1st choice.

Got one proposal done and I'm still wondering if I should do another proposal for another topic....just in case....because certain topics are really HOT!!! yea, like SUPER HOT!!! .ahhhh......stress level building up!

Then I've got this Instrumentation lab report which I haven't done. I got sooo much problem in trying to plot the stupid histogram! The first time I tried, I spent 1 hour just to plot 1 histogram!!! and it's done using a software!!!! I always have no luck with these computer programs! We just don't click!

Then I spent like a few more hours to plot.....like 15 histograms eventhough we only need 6! I keep finding problems in them.

I'm starting to enjoy poppin' more tha hiphop though I love both. As long as I don't have to do complicated leg movements in poppin', I'm happy. We're now doing body rolls/waves.

Oh yeah! *swings her head to the left* Uh-huh! *swings her head to the right* and Wooh! my hair looks horrible! *fixes hair* Yea! *continues swinging again*

Yea, that's like my routine in class now...haaha.....swing, swing, swing and then suddenly I'll realised my hair looks super messy from all the flipping and swinging.

Then sometimes I swing too hard and felt like I'm loosing my balance.....

Plus I seem to have problem swinging from the left.....

Yesterday we had a 2 hour hiphop class and so I'm now.....super tired!! Muscles aching and worst of all...my head hurts!!!

Z taught us how to do cartwheels and er....how to roll on the floor???

It's soo hard!!! I've never done a cartwheel before in my entire life!! and now and this age!!! I have to learn how to do a cartwheel!
.
I'm a chicken! Super scared that I'm going to hurt myself. Never would I do anything like this if I were on my own.
.
But when you're in a class, your instructor is asking you to do it and everyone's doing it and I'm like.....”ahhh.....go!!!”
.
The first time I tried it, I ended up on the floor.

How do people keep their legs up and how to they finish standing???
.

Z taught us to do the carthweel from one side and later asked us to do the reverse!!! I can't even do one properly and now I have to do the reverse.....super scared la! Cuz I'm like used to the other side already! And I looked like an idiot, just placed my hand on the floor and moved my legs!!! ahhhh....
.
But, comparing the cartwheel to the floor roll....the floor roll is worser. My poor head! Till now the top of my head hurts!!!
.
When Z first taught me, it's still ok, thought it's not exactly what he asked for.....at least, when you do it slowly and not get it right, I only hit different parts of my body on the floor....and of course it hurts!!! It hurts the most when you roll sideways accidentally and all your weight will be on one shoulder!
.
The most painful part is when you have to do it fast and Ok Go! And POP!! Ouch! You bang your head directly on the floor! And you're squatting down there but you have to finish it....but because of the knock on your head, you're now scared and you do it slowly...but you knock your head on the floor again anyways!!!
.
The knock on the head after you have rolled is not as pain as the one when you're about to roll and ready to throw your weight, and once you lift your legs....you're head hits the ground first and you can't roll over beccause you're in the wrong position.
.
I seriusly felt like crying after a few rolls....soo painful!
.
I now regret that I've never tried these when I was younger!!!
.
Had 3 guys out of the 12 of us yesterday and they could do it real fast! I think being a guy gives you an advantage because:
you probably would've tried it before
you're braver
not as scared as girls of physical pain
you just go!

Yea, but it's good la, at least I now know.....hopefully.....that in the near future....with practice........I can do a proper cartwheel! :D

I just pray that we don't have to do back flips!!!
