Kamakura Part 2

While in search of a little restaurant there that serves kuzu-kiri, we walked into this side street on the left, off the main street. There, we walked past this mansion that seems to be a restaurant. This definitely makes for a nice dating spot.

This has got to be Japan's most dangerous parking spot. Lol~ it's just a hole in the hill.

While this shop is far off the main street, but definitely worth the visit!

Kuzu-kiri with kuromitsu~!

It was my first time trying it and it was delicious~!!! Absolutely love the kuromitsu~!!! This feels like, it would be really refreshing during summer.

After that we went exploring around the area further behind the shop.


We hiked up a hill to  Zeniarai Benten Shrine (銭洗弁天), which people visit to wash their money (zeniarai means "coin washing"). It is said that money washed will double.




After that, we hiked further up the mountain to see what's there.

Sadly, I didn't get a good omikuji which I had to tie to a tree branch.

Meanwhile, the view was good.
