Day 3: Max Brenner Vivo City

I've been wanting to try Max Brenner for a really long time.....

Luckily, they had a branch in Singapore :D

A very happy Chong~

My chocolate drink~ Always love a good ice blended choc!

What we ordered~
This one is really good, especially after you pour the cup of melted chocolate over it.

Not a fan of banana but this is pretty yummy too!

The food and drink is good but wasn't as superb as I expected because I've read so many rave reviews about it. Plus it's pretty pricey. So probably I wouldn't return for another meal, but I'm anticipating my visit to the Australia one! :) hehee.....especially since a friend has mentioned that the taste is a lot better!

Day 3: Universal Studios

Truly thankful to my cousin this trip. She brought me around, treated us to dinner and even bought Universal Studio Singapore tickets for Chong and I.

So happy that I got to visit 2 different Universal Studios in the same year.

The Singapore one is slightly smaller and I also spotted some similar rides.

We wanna move it, move it! We wanna move it, move it! MOVE IT!

COOKIE MONSTER!!!!

I'm so glad that mascots here allow adults to take pictures with them! I didn't manage to get close to any in Japan's. hahaha......

While queuing up for ones of the rides~

This is really cool! Didn't know what to expect as it was my first time in this attraction but I really enjoyed it! Their stunts were amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED~

A little snack as it was drizzling and we couldn't get anywhere.....so we had some friend chicken~

Not in any of these pictures, but I'm glad that I got to enjoy the huge turkey drumstick again! Yummy~

So glad that I got to catch the Christmas parade too.

I have the universe in my hand~!

So sad that it kept drizzling throughout the entire day. Plus that Jurassic Park ride totally flooded my shoes and socks. At the end of the day, my Nike sport shoes was gone.....had to throw it away the next day.

Day 2: Marina Bay Sands + Gardens by the Bay

Finally I'm here~

I'm really intrigued with the concept of Gardens by the bay.

Singapore flyer. No time for it this trip, maybe on my next trip!

So thankful to my cousin and her hubby who paid for my ticket. Here we are in the cloud forest.

The flowers there are so pretty!

Wow~

Chong, what are you smiling about? hehee.....

Chong, seriously.....what are you doing?

Found the love birds selfie-ing

Love this pic snapped by Chong~

Just when we were having so much fun, suddenly this happened......mist everywhere.....guess they needed to water the plants.

Day 1: Azabu Sabo Hokkaido Ice Cream & Crystal Jade, Takashimaya

Last year, I went to Singapore in December and here are some snippets of my trip though it's a year late. The next few posts will be a record of my trip there. I realise that since I'm not keeping a diary now and if I'm not recording things down, I tend to forget them easily, so this blog is great as I get to relieve the moments when I reread my own posts.

Once we arrived at Changi International Airport, we took a cab to mum's friend place where we stayed the next few days.

After lunch and freshening up, we went to Orchard road.

Once at the depachika of Takashimaya, the first thing I spotted was Azabu Sabo Hokkaido Ice Cream and I just had to!!! Double scoop of dark choc and black sesame....omg, I'm salivating just thinking about it now! Why you no come to Malaysia?

hehehe.....so cute~

Beautiful Tiffany & Co. Xmas tree~

Laduree macaron Xmas tree~ if only the macarons were edible hahaha....

For tea, we headed to Crystal Jade.

Peanut butter toast

My favourite~ Polo bao

After that, I went to meet up with Chong for dinner. It was really nice of her to come out to meet me every single day I was in Singapore.

We had dinner at a japanese restaurant and this is what she ordered.

My sad little doria.....

I've forgotten the name of this restaurant (see! another reason why I need to record things down) but their food was quite bad. I didn't enjoy anything.

Xmas deco at the mall

Since dinner was too disappointing, we had to get some desserts to end the day on a sweet note.

Strawberry ice cream with some berries

Man hard at work......

The other ice cream is cookies and cream

Good ice cream, but not as good as Azabu Sabo's.
