Durian cendol at San Shu Gong in Jonker street.
Here's where we queue up to buy food and drinks.
Their most famous dish is this......hehe, not everyone can stomach it but definitely a taste of heaven for those who love durians.
The shop lots in the area are really old as you can see from their built.....the long and narrow shops with really high ceilings. Some even have random hallways or stairs that are connected to nowhere as they are no longer in use.
The place was really packed. Being the pampered us, we needed air-conditioning!! and we were lucky enough to get a table by the counter.
Trying to pose with 2 cendols. The packaging is really cute, guess its for easy handling....of just for marketing purposes to differentiate themselves from so many others in the area who serve the same thing.
An upclose pic~
Unfortunately, this one looks a bit disgusting and sad. The paper bowl was only half filled and it definitely look nothing like the one advertised on the bunting.
Overall, it was a good first time for me as I've never tried durian cendol before. However, I still prefer the normal cendol~
