Shinjuku gyoen

For lunch, we had the cup noodles that we made at the cup noodle factory.

Our designs~

This is how mine looked like on the inside. I chose a seafood soup base, topped with garlic, prawns, hotate and fish cakes.

The cup noodle was super yummy because there were just so many different toppings. I will definitely wanna go back to make another one!

After lunch, we went to Shinjuku gyoen. It was my first time there and we were lucky enough to catch ume.

There is a greenhouse in the garden and we visited it too. It was definitely a nice place to enter to get some warmth on a cold winter day.

There we saw many familiar tropical plants and even this gigantic lemon that's bigger than J's fist.

It's my first time seeing cocoa pods.

Even though it was only late February, there were other flowers such as pansies which has bloomed.

After visiting the garden, we were hungry....but it wasn't time for dinner yet, so we stopped by a gyoza restaurant for some gyozas to fill our tummy first.

I love the gyozas and eggplant appetiser here. It was super flavourful.

This is my first time having sui gyoza in Japan and they were surprisingly good too.

For dinner, we went to a korean bbq restaurant at Okubo.

Absolutely love the seafood pancake here as it was stuffed with seafood and veg.

We also had the grilled pork belly which went super well with the side dishes.
