Sailormoon Show in Tokyo

Finally I'm here!!!

At Azabujuuban for the Sailormoon Show in Tokyo.

This place is really fitting as if you have read the manga or watched the anime, you will know that Usagi and her friends goes to school there and many of their activities are situated there.

You can book your tickets from this website.

I'm here during dinner time. When I was making my reservation, they didn't have shows with the lunch session and hence, I booked a dinner session that came with the show.

The place is pretty small and sits about maybe about 60. There was about 40 people when we were there.

Before entering, as you are queuing outside, the staffs will pass you a fan take your drink order.

Once inside, you are free to take pictures and visit their souvenir shop on the 2nd floor.

After a while, dinner is served. The menu changes frequently and when we visited, they served hamburg rice and white curry. The food were served on plastic plates so that you can keep the actual plate that is at the bottom of the plastic one. When you are done with dinner, the staffs will come over and pass you a box to pack the plate.

Even for the drinks which were Sailormoon themed of course, they came with a coaster that is covered in plastic, so that you can bring it home with you.

We opted for Seats A which was slightly cheaper than Seats S. We paid 7,500 yen for a plate of food, a drink and the show. And I must say, it is not bad. As the place is small, we are still pretty closed to the stage.

Here is the menu? Basically, it is a booklet that contains the menu and details of the performers.

There is also a dessert and drinks menu for those who are interested in getting extra food.

They are 2 actresses for each character. There is a card that shows which actresses were the ones who actually performed that night.

Throughout the show, you are not allowed to take pictures or videos. But there is a section where you are allowed to and they will inform you when you are allowed to take pictures of the show.

At the end of the show, the cast comes around for pictures.

Overall, I really enjoyed the show and had a great night. No regret at all, though the tickets were expensive.

I highly recommend this for all Sailormoon fans. You will not be disappointed with the show!!
The food and drinks are not that great, but the show is superb!

BBQ & Sushi

Went with J to his friend's place for BBQ one weekend.

Their apartment has a rental BBQ area on the lower floor.

The apartment is super fancy and in a pretty nice location. There is a roof area where you can enjoy a nice view of the sunset.

It is really nice to be able to just sit down and enjoy this view here.

After that, a few of us left together for sushi dinner.

We went to Sushiko.

We all ordered a main dish of our own and also some other dishes to share.

I ordered this kaisen don, which was of course delicious!

Crab was on the menu and it was yummy!

Sushiko is pretty good as I have been frequenting this franchise frequently in the past year.

Group picture~

The seafood was fresh and delicious!

Not exactly a healthy day as my lunch was filled with grilled meat and later at night, I ate more than 1 serving of seafood and rice.

Meet up with Naoko

Meeting up with Naoko again, before she leaves Tokyo to go back to her hometown.

We went to one of our favourite place in Nishi Kasai - Luce.

They must have recently renovated the place as it looked prettier now.

Also, they have changed their menu. For the same price, you now get less dishes but I guess that is good too so that we don't over stuff ourselves.

The lasagna that I had was super good. I will definitely revisit just for that.

Also, every time when you are at Luce, you have to order their cakes because they are super good. It was so good that we all ordered a second one.

It was really nice to be able to catch up with her again and I will definitely visit her at Shizuoka.

Random lunches in Nov

I had a work meeting in Kansai in the evening. As it was near early dinner time when I arrived, I quickly grabbed dinner at a sushi place between the shinkansen platform and the JR trains.

The sushi is pretty good actually

This trio was super good.

I felt like I needed to treat myself to sushi after a busy week at work. Lol

This overflowing crab sushi here is super good. though it looked kinda messy.

While this place is not cheap, it is in a very convenient location and you do not have to get out of the train station to enjoy some good sushi.

More Indian curry buffet lunch for me. It has become a once in a month thing now.

Lunch bento filled with fried items from a bento stall near my office. Definitely not healthy at all as everything is fried. But if you want a hot bento meal, this is definitely the place to go to! And I'm usually craving for a hot meal.

Birthday lunch treat for myself.
I went to a nice sushi restaurant near my office to treat myself to a nice lunch. :)

Lunch with my colleague after working out in the gym on a weekend, before we go back for our last class in the gym.

November babies birthday celebration with my colleagues.

We went to an izakaya nearby the office and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was.

The sashimi were all super fresh and delicious!

I think I will return here again for more good food.

Lunch with my colleagues at the place where we were going to hold out year end Christmas Party as we had to go there to survey the area.

Early dinner before my Japanese lesson as I was walking by and spotted this new ramen place that just opened recently.

Not bad as I enjoy seafood based ramen. Also, they use thin noodles which is a plus point. And I was surprised that they used red onions instead of the usual white onions that is more common here.

More meals on the Shinkansen as I travel to Kansai again for work.

More hot bento lunch box. While it is not healthy to always have fried food, but I do prefer a hot lunch usually.

This is the best corn soup you will ever find in a can!!! I love it so much that I was drinking one a day whenever I have to go into the office! Especially good when the weather is getting cold.

Chicken bento from this old uncle who comes to nearby my office in a cart. He only sells about 20-30 bento each day. All are very reasonably priced at only 500 yen per box. I do try to buy from him to support him as he is really old, but sometimes when I am craving for hot food, I will just go to the hot bento shop.
