Buffet Sky Restaurant & Kameidotenjin (亀戸天神社)

We went to Tsukiji market with hopes to get some ebi ramen but unfortunately, the shop was not open.

So we walked to Ginza to get lunch at the Buffet Sky restaurant instead.

Along the way, we got some daifuku and matcha ice cream.

This is probably one of my fav. buffet restaurants here in Tokyo. Their choices and selection is small but the taste is good. Every now and then they change up the main dish and dessert selection.

This time, the main was a chicken pie and for the hot food section, they served rice cooked with anchovies and prawns. There was also stir-fried clams which were delicious.

This time, mango was in season and hence, there were some mango themed desserts.

I like that everything here is tiny, so you get to try everything.

The lobby area also gives you a nice view of the city.

After lunch, we went to 亀戸天神社 (Kameido tenjin) with hopes to check out the wisteria.

Unfortunately, we were a little too late as you can see, there were only a little left.

Kameidotenjin is a really nice Shinto shrine.

I've always wanted to visit during the wisteria season but never had the chance as the season is over by the time I want to visit.

From there, you get a nice view of the sky tree too.

J got some really nice shots for me there too~

The weather was definitely getting warm.

Despite the fact that there were only a little wisteria left, the place still looked pretty.

I assume that this is a very popular tourist spot as there were these photo spots located at several areas around the shrine.

There are stands set up for you to place your phone on top, so that you can take a picture of yourselves.

Here are some examples. I thought that they turned out amazing! So great to finally have some shots of the 2 of us that is not just of our heads. Lol~
