Moerenuma Park モエレ沼公園

It was really a good day to visit the Moerenuma Park (モエレ沼公園) since the weather was so good!

This is a really big park that's designed by Isamu Noguchi.

At the entrance, there's is an area where you can rent bicycles because the park is so big!

Lol, the helmet that was provided to me. But in the end, I decided that I do not need one because it will only add on to the amount of things that I will need to carry. And no, you are not required to wear it but you can rent it too if you should require it.

The view there is amazing. And look at how blue the sky was~

There is literally a nice blue gradient in all the pictures taken!

Anytime, you spot something interesting in the park, you can just park you bike at the side and enjoy the space.

Of course, you can opt to just walk too!

But because the attractions are pretty spaced out, it's really better to cycle.

First stop was the fountain show.

I thought that it was gonna be a musical fountain but it wasn't. Still looks cool~

Next stop was this glass pyramid.

I can imagine that it's nice to be in the pyramid on a cold winter day.

This are would be nice for live concerts. Have your audience sit around you on the steps. Small, cozy and with a view.

There's even a roof area where you can step out and enjoy the view.

Not sure what that hole is but I assume it was one of the 'art' work there.

Next stop is this hill~! Many people hiked up and while it looks easy, it's not!

Once you're up there, enjoy the view~

For me, it's easier to go up than down because it looks steep, so we took the stairs down instead. There were a bunch of students who came around the same time that we did and they literally just rolled down the hill!!! I'm not kidding, they just laid on the grass and rolled all the way down.

Moving on to our next stop.

Taken by J was too tired to climb up.

On top of the world~

Moving on to other parts of the park.

Spotted a couple taking their wedding pictures.

There were also playgrounds for kids to play around.

Also spotted this weird structure which I thought made a good photo spot. Spot me~

Getting camouflaged in the trees~

This is a great park for those who love nature that's not too nature, if you know what I mean. There is lots to do there and you can easily spend half the day there.
