Lunch Cruise Day!
Super excited for this day as I have never been on a lunch cruise before.
J had booked lunch cruise at the Royal Wing for Valentine's.
We had to board at the Yokohama International Passenger Terminal, which itself is an interesting building with a nice roof top area for you to chill.

There are photo spots along the way to the cruise for photos. They will help you take a picture and present it to you later on during the cruise. You can chose to buy it to not later on.
We were seated on the 2nd floor which served a Chinese lunch course.
The place wasn't full when we were there and all of us had window facing seats.
Here is the menu:
Not really obvious here but on the far left, there is a piano and during the lunch course, there was a pianist and violinist who provided live music!
The view from our seats.
Finally, it is time for lunch to be served.
First up is the appetiser which is ok, as it is a cold appetiser. Was happy to see that there was char siew! hahaha.....
Tea was nice and fragrant.
Next up is the 'shark fin' soup, which I am not sure if it is real shark fin or a faux version. This is because most places don't sell or serve them now in other parts of the world, but it still seems pretty common here in Japan and I am unsure if it is just a name for the dish or if it actually uses the real thing.
Next is shrimp in chilli sauce, which I enjoyed because it was extremely flavourful.
Then we were served 2 dumplings each which were meh, as I am very picky with my dumplings. But I guess, it is the view and the experience that is what most people come for.
Then a balloon twister visited our table and presented us this cute doggy.
To end the meal, we were served this char siew and prawn fired rice which did had 'wok hei' and 'msg' in it, which according to Uncle Roger, is what makes a good fried rice and I agree!
J had also prepared some extra surprises, including a Valentine's cake and a bouquet of flowers! :D
Definitely wasn't expecting that! Thank you~
I just realised that everything on has pink in it! heehee....
And the annin tofu, which was the dessert for the course was also served! The annin tofu was average and so was the cake. While the surprise was great, I was slightly disappointed with the taste of the cake, especially with it's price tag.
Am I the only one who doesn't like a normal sponge + cream cake which is the most common kind of cake available in Japan? There needs to me more texture, other than just soft to the cake!
After the meal, we quickly went out to the deck to enjoy the view!
As you can see, the weather was amazing. Not a single cloud in sight.
Both the sky and the sea were super blue~
Super happy with the experience.
Bye bye Royal Wing!
