I went to Malacca with my lab mates few months back and never had the time to blog about it. So starting with this blog post I will be sharing about our adventures there....keke.....starting with our very first meal there.
When at Malacca, we must have their specialty chicken rice ball and according to our *ahem* personal guide, this shop here, "Hoe Kee", serves good chicken rice ball.
As with most popular/ tourist restaurants in Malacca, there is always a queue.
What better thing to do than to take a few pictures?
The interior is quite traditional looking. Most of the old buildings in Jonker street are long like this with really high ceilings.
Picture session again before the food arrives.
Here's our meal: Normal chicken rice, Steamed chicken with cucumber, Chinese cabbage and Chicken rice balls.
Overall, it was a good meal, though I'm not really a fan of chicken rice ball. It's sort of like a 'must do' tourist thing there.
