After window shopping in some of the shops in Myeongdong, we walked into a shop that serves dal galbi.
I haven't had this in many years and was happy to finally get to try it there. While it was yummy, I was a bit disappointed that we got so full that we couldn't add a ramyun to the end of the meal.
After more walking around, we spotted Gela Rosa, which sells these rose shaped gelato which I've seen on many people's travel pics to Seoul. And next to the gelato shop is a shop that seems to be famous for bread. They sell many loafs of various flavours. Sadly, they do not slice the bread and the place where we stayed did not provide cutleries. If not, I would have bought a loaf to try.
As you would expect, the gelato looks super pretty and comes in 4 different varieties.
We decided to go with C as I do not like plain vanilla/ ice cream that are white in colour.
The green tea was not too sweet and yummy. My favourite is the chocolate as it was rich and goes well with the green tea.
Later in the evening, stall starts setting up along the streets of Myeongdong and we tried some food there too.
The first stall that we tried we this pan fried dumpling stall that was runned by a Chinese lady.
We ordered the normal and the spicy one to try.
They're big and have may fillings. They tasted ok but not very memorable.
We also saw several stalls selling grilled lobster with cheese. Not sure if they're franchise but they're really selling the same thing just a few stalls from one another.
Sadly, these lobster were expensive and not very delicious.
There were also many stalls selling fried fish cakes.
I love fish cakes. So I couldn't resist and ordered a stick with different fillings.
Overall, I like the food stalls as you can easily grab a quick bite while shopping. There are also stalls that sells clothes and bags. I never really looked at them except for a coat stall and it was expensive at about 8,000 yen for one.
