Experience center SonaArea Odaiba

One random weekend, we decided to visit the Experience center SonaArea Tokyo.

The entrance is free and it's pretty good as you get to learn a lot about earthquakes here in Japan.

There are areas where you can see the aftermath of an earthquake in some sort of guided your where you use a pad to answer some questions as you walk around the facility.

You will realise that there are many families there as it's really educational for kids to learn about all these.

There's also an area with lots of posters explaining about earthquakes and even charts on which area might experience a big earthquake in the near future and how would the neighboring areas be affected.

It's really good information for me, even as a foreginer.

You'll realise that all the posters have English translations so it's good for those who can't read Japanese too.

On the roof, there's a small garden for you to catch some fresh air.

The weather was lovely when we visited. Look at how blue the sky was.

There were also some pretty pink flowers there.

The facility is big. Other areas includes an area where you can learn about goods for earthquake, what to do after an earthquake, what will the government be doing.....

You can also find things like this, a toilet booth that's built completely out of paper!

There's also goods shop which sells earthquake food, other than the usual goodies.

Overall, I enjoyed learning more about earthquakes and am glad that I visited. It's a good educational place for those with young children.
