Cape Tarai (盥岬)

The next morning, we grabbed breakfast at the hotel.

We were super happy with the selections offered. There were so many different kinds of food and everything was delicious.

As with other Tokyu hotels that I've stayed at, the breakfast is always good.

I'm also very happy that they served various kind of fruits and even served fresh fruit juice, which is extremely rare. You can find fruit juices but they are usually packaged fruit juice. That small tiny glass is the freshly squeezed orange juice. And the bigger glass is the packaged fruit juce.

After a heavy breakfast, we took the bus down to the town to catch the local bus to Cape Tarai (盥岬).

On the bus.

As it was the end of summer, the weather was getting cooler.

Finally made it, as you can see, we're on a cliff again.

The weather was superb and the sky looks pretty.

The wind was pretty strong when we visited. My cap got blew off twice.

Highly recommend this place.

I really enjoyed the scenic views.

At the edge, there is this VERY steep staircase.

To go down to the shrine.

This stairs is no joke for someone like me with a fear of heights and steps. I had to go down slowly while holding on right to the railings.

It might no look steep from this picture but it was very steep. A pair of old couple who was in front of us decided not to head down as the stairs were steep and the wind was super strong.

The views from down here is nice too.

The sun was so bright, I could hardly keep my eyes open for this shot.

After that, we walked back to the restaurant or rest area for some ice cream before taking the bus to Ryugu Sea Cave.

We got this cute little monaka ice cream to cool ourselves down after that short 'hike'.
