Ryugu Sea Cave (龍宮窟)
We took the bus here and it was easy to tell that we have arrived because there were so many cars and people on both sides of the narrow road. As it was near the sea and the weather was sunny. it kinda reminded of my Bali trip.
Walk down the stairs and you will be greeted with this view.
We can't go in any further as there is a line for how far we can go.
When I was there, there were some visitors in heels and I'm amazed by how they were able to walk on the stony path in heels. But first of all, why would you come here in heels!??
Walk back up and you will find a path that allows you to walk around to see it from above.
As described on the board, yo should be able to see a heart shape! <3
heehee....tried to take a pic with the heart~!
On the other side, I spotted an area where a few people were enjoying sand slide.
Ahhh, love the sea and the sound of sea waves~
After that, we took the bus back to Izukyu Shimoda Station and grabbe super late lunch at a soba shop called 手打ち蕎麦 薮 (Teuchi soba yabu).
We arrived well after lunch time and there was still a super long queue there. We queued for about an hour before we got seated.
The menu is simple and everything was written in Japanese.
J had the warm duck soba while I ordered the tempura seiro!
The soba was delicious and I especially enjoyed the tempura. It was delicious!
It's convenient as the place was near the station and after late lunch, we could easily catch the bus back to the hotel.
