YL's flight arrives at 10.30pm but we decided that we'll go early just to check out Haneda airport.
We were there by 7pm! LOL
First, we checked out all the restaurants and found one that we'd like to try but because there was a super long queue, we decided to buy an ebi fry onigiri first before queuing.
The ebi fry was delicious~!!! Great as snacks or for flights which does not serve food!
We queued at Tsurutontan which is an udon place that seems to be extremely popular. We ordered the most expensive bowl of ramen there which was meant for 2 person to be shared. It was super yummy~!!!! Probably the best udon I've had!!!
Other than udon, we also ordered a half portion of sushi roll which was pretty filling because of all the rice. I won't order this again as the taste was just ok.
The udon that we ordered came with a side of tempura too that went super well with the delicious soup from the udon.
For desserts, we had kuzukiri which is basically starch served with black sugar syrup. The noodle like pieces are tasteless but taste good with the black sugar syrup.
After dinner, we explored the airport somemore before finding a seat somewhere to rest and wait for YL to arrive~
