Grabbed dinner with my senpai after work one day as we had a meeting at another lab and had to pass by Yokohama station.
We stopped by this place called 吉村家 (Yoshimuraya), which is famous for their 家系 (Ie-kei) ramen. This iekei ramen is very popular in the Kanagawa area. It is a mixture of tonkotsu with shoyu broth and hence, very thick and flavourful.
This shop is very popular as there was a super long line outside when we arrived, which moved pretty quickly. The soup was flavourful and salty, a bit too salty for me actually. The noodles served are thick but I usually prefer the thin noodles. Overall, it's a good place to try the highly popular iekei ramen that's boming here.

Next up is my lunch plate from MOKUOLA Dexee Diner at Prince Pepe, Shin-Yokohama. This shop is a franchise and can be found in several locations. While on the expensive side, their lunch set is not too bad as you get to taste several small items on one plate e.g. salad, bun, grilled veg, rice that's topped with salmon and salmon roe, an a small fruit cordial drink.
Lastly, when you're stressed with work and want to pig out on your favourite fast food franchise! You buy a while lot of it and enjoy items to enjoy with a good movie~ Perfect way to end the work week!
