Japanese sweets & Sky buffet

Look at these beautiful wagashi! They were made by J's aunt.

Looking at them, I'm reminded of my experience at a wagashi workshop in Kanazawa.

J's aunt is really good at making wagashi like these or baking sweet goodies.

For lunch, I met with yh to try it this buffet place called Restaurant Sky.

They serve lunch buffet from 1130am to 3pm at 2700 yen on weekdays and 3100 yen on weekends.

They use a lot of seasonal vegetables for their appetisers.... soo this is a great place whenever you feel like you're not getting enough veg in your diet.

They also serve a main dish 3 times throughout lunch service.  When I visited, the main dish was pork which was carved out nicely for you by the Chef.

They also have an entire table dictated to desserts where you get many mini desserts like these.

Overall, the service is great and the staff was nice enough to move us to a window seat where we got a bird's eye view of the area when other customers left.

Yh liked this place so much that she returned the next month with Mish.
